So let me start this one with - I messed up. I text at late notice requesting Apple based off earlier good reviews. Was told to come along in 30 mins and I'm booked in.
So it comes and I head into the shop. The girls in there look utterly bemused that I said I had a booking then asked to see my text exchange. Eventually I'm reluctantly led into a room by Apple. She's gorgeous, young and petite. I was super excited as I've only ever had great experiences in this shop and was looking forward to it all week.
Next minute the front of house lady comes into the room and says we have to switch. So me being me (terrible social anxiety) I'm panicking now. Then the front of house woman comes in and starts the massage. I was told this happens sometimes but the other girl will return. Nope. She did the whole massage. It then dawned on me this could be the other girl who is there this week (Sia?).
Massage was ok, thorough with good use of fingers and elbows. No talking and out the door in 45 mins (even though I booked an hour). So 50+20 for HR.
The reason for the neutral is the somewhatq bait and switch. The most annoying thing is another patron came in just after me and they gave him the same treatment... Booking? What booking??
Him being more experienced he calmly said 'no, I've booked' and he got Apple. In the room beside me chatting and giggling away.
Lesson learned - I need to be a bit more assertive. I do think the shop should be able to manage bookings and actually give you the masseuse you requested..
