So I was in Southampton for the England game last night, my train back home today was at 12pm so thought I'd get a massage somewhere relatively close to the town centre. After seeing some good reviews for this place thought I'd give it a chance. Called the number at 10.00am as that is when the shop is open from and spoke to from what I believe was the receptionist but her English wasn't that good so was difficult speaking with her. Managed to clearly ask for an appointment for 11.00am which was agreed. I then received a text from the number around 10.45am to say that 'May' was ready for me, I replied to say that I was near and should be about 15 minutes.
Arrived at the shop (bearing in mind it's not discreet at all, on a really busy road which has a lot of standing traffic so if you are quite anxious this could put you off. Anyway walked in and no one was at the desk. About 30 seconds later a woman comes down and asks why I'm here? Confused I replied to say that I'm here for my booking. She then told me that someone else has come just before me and there was no availability until later on in the day. Couldn't really believe it and said why the hell did you accept my appointment if you was just going to accept someone else despite that the appointment was arranged in good faith. She literally had no clue whatsoever. Not sure if she was the receptionist or most likely the masseuse. I asked if she was 'May' but she didn't answer, had a feeling she was but she got caught out and didn't want to accept her mistake.
Decided to just leave as had no time to look elsewhere. Not happy with the timewasting, definitely wouldn't return to this place even if I somehow lived in Southampton.
