Everybodies circumstances differ of course. I wouldn't punt with my next door neighbour but in truth you wouldn't need a brilliant excuse for popping in to see your neighbour. I used to usually punt 2-3 miles from home and rarely felt there was much chance of getting busted. Unless you are caught entering the door of a known knocking shop, like say your car got spotted parketd in the area, there's always the old picking up an item you won on ebay excuse. Unless you are going with an underage or trafficked girl you aren't doing anything illegal. Like sex you need to just lose your punting virginity more than worrying about the experience.
