Also, personally I couldn't care less what people judge me as. I know who I am, what my 'reasons' are. My personal circumstances are my personal circumstances.
In any other job, do the workers continuously have to justify their 'reasons' for doing their job? Erm... here's a little clue - MONEY
As for judgements about WGs, I don't assume every punter I see is a dirty, sad old raincoat-wearing man! but seemingly all Sex Workers have to be fitted into little boxes.
I wouldn't concern myself with whether anyone/punters think I am a single mother, nymphomaniac, drug-addicted, bad childhood blah blah blah. I couldn't care less, I just get on with being me! However I think it is important that we (WG's and punters alike)whenever possible should strive to challenge the views held by the mass media and the some feminists that MOST WG's are drug-addicted and 'victims of bad childhoods'. It's this very belief, which some of you propagate endlessly on here which will help to pass laws criminalising the punter (think about it - if the myths prevail then the government and public will say "we've got to protect these victim women with the swedish model!").
So you are actually contributing to the argument for criminalisation by constantly repeating daft myths and generalisations about any woman who chooses to work in the Sex Industry! Perhaps have a think about that
