Tried to book on Thursday but was told not available till the next week as she was moving back to Manchester so arranged to meet on Tuesday and was told to confirm the night before.

Read a few reviews here about her confirmation strictness so on Monday morning I tried to reconfirm but was told to reconfirm at night.

Confirm later at night and was then given the green light and the postcode. Booked my train tickets and transport.

Next morning I was in Chester ready to board the train and text her my arrival when I received the usual belly ache message and cancelled. Didn't want to waste a ticket and my day so I planned a plan B beforehand. Burnt too many times.

PS Not saying it may not be true about being sick but given the past reviews and my experience I find it a tad unprofessional. Just be cautious when booking.

poor forum and almost certainly got a better offer but at least the WG told you with some notice rather than radio silence

True but it's still bad that you follow everything a WG says, jump through all the hoops and still get cancelled wasting your time and money. Also my alternative wasn't all that great.
