Yes unfortunately unit 6 is gone.  It wasn't shut down by the police so no dramas. But they are looking for more premises.
I like 39. I try and ask to use to top floor(the penthouse?!). It's good exercise going up and down those stairs all day. Luckily most girls don't like the top floor cos they say its too cold(in winter). Oh and 39 is haunted(allegedly) lol

The top floor room is the only one I will punt in as it has a shower opposite.   Defo would not punt in any of the rooms on the ground floor!   39 reminds me of the equally grotty and now redudant number 15.   

Gutted about unit 6 though, great purpose built venue for WG's and Punters alike!

That 39 should be condemned, esp the ground floor room  as you open the front door. I refuse to see any WG there if offered that place.

Are you referring to the room on the left or straight ahead at opposite end of entrance hall?

I remember punting in the ground floor bedroom a couple of times in the distant past when they had a privacy screen which was slightly narrower than the window, so was always wary of any passing pedestrians stopping to have a peek at who’s making all that noise!

Once did a visit in the room on the left which I vaguely recall simply having curtains over doorway

Hope that they’ve upgraded the fans to portable air-con units for upper floors, as used to be uncomfortably hot up there even when summer days were under 30 Celsius, so I dread to think what they’ll be like for this week’s heatwave.

As you open door at 39, straight ahead ground floor. Too small and stuff with dust. Also the room on the left is not pleasant on the ground floor. Middle room a maybe and best room is top floor where is a reasonable shower.

Haha...no it's just one of those rumours cos I think it's an old building so it creaks and makes weird noises sometimes.. I think most of the brothels I've worked in have been allegedly haunted. Although I do find that the only people who "feel" or hear the ghosts are the ones that believe in ghosts so make what you want of that.
