I think you can enjoy punting despite this bad experience (although I understand why you think that). What happened to you isn’t exactly rare but it’s also not common (as it sounds particularly bad) and you can significantly reduce the risk by seeing girls who have good reviews on here. It’s also very advisable to just walk away if the only girls available don’t look great.

Basically I think you should get a bit more experience before you totally rule out punting. Punting can be very enjoyable, especially when choosing carefully and sticking to your guns although of course it’s not for every guy.
