Leaving a deposit - warning!

In my 20 years plus punting for the first time ever I recently (before lockdown) paid a deposit to secure a meeting. Her argument (which I naively bought) was that there were a lot of people letting her down on outcalls during the Covid era. You’ll not be surprised to hear that she never turned up for the outcall and ignored my messages.

I reported it to AW but nothing had been done. I can’t get the money back because it was via bank transfer. Has this ever happened to you? If it hasn’t, heed my advice and avoid falling into the trap I did. It wasn’t a large amount of cash but it’s the principle and the headfuck it causes. Don’t do it!

How I see it is if they ask for a deposit 9 times out of 10 they are going to take the money and run

The deposit scam, one of the oldest tricks in the book and while everyone know they shouldn't pay a deposit there will always still be just enough punters who make the mistake to make it worthwhile.

Looking at her profile there are a few things on it which indicate it's purely a scam profile to hook guys in -
Firstly she claims to be pregnant which is quite a niche service and not many girls on AW offering it so if that's a bucket list item she's already got a punters interest.
Claims to be always horny along with being single and wants to fuck guys to get her kicks
Claims to have a big fetish for older guys
Claims to like taboo and role play

All designed to get your interest and then the final hook is that at £80/30 minutes and £140/hr her outcall rates are probably what most punters would expect to pay for an incall so she's a bargain to boot, what's not to like 

Well she's also got Bareback listed and her feedback is hidden 

Thanks for sharing, at least we know she's a scammer to be avoided for a number of reasons, as suggested this can and really should also be posted as a negative review

I've been requested a deposit before and was willing to pay it on one occasion as if it came off, it was for something I really wanted (a FFM) and if it was a scam, it was an amount I was comfortable writing off.

As it happens I found out it was a scam before I paid the deposit so I sacked off the whole thing.

So my advice is avoid them unless the outcome that it's genuine makes it worthwhile so that you are comfortable with the high likelihood it's bullshit and you'll lose your money.

Anyway, I agree I was naive and foolish for falling for it. I think lockdown may have melted my brain. For the record AW offered zero support - I didn’t want to help get my money back, just thought they should place a warning on her profile.

Realistically you were on a hiding-to-nothing with that one anyway.
The group she works for usually don't escort, they just string you along with camera sessions offering future meets which never happen. There's been numerous complaints about them before.
As for AW, as you didn't book through their system they won't give a shit.
Only way they'll take action is if:
either you mail them telling them the profile is fake and you prove she doesn't escort
or you can prove the profile photos are stolen - and you can give them the source
