I think it's harder for Admin to see whether multiple profiles exist when people log in from their phones (not an IP address as such?) It takes a while before their posting style or old grudges give them away.

Also I think it's true that some previously banned members were allowed to re-join, in the hope that they might not get themselves banned again (ie learnt their lesson)?

We don't know when a poster got banned, so how would we know. The banning time is not visible to us. Therefore it's not possible to show you.

I guess you admins can create a dummy account that would post something, keeping the browser open, get banned, and then attempt to post again and see what happens.

We don't need to, we know that once banned posts cannot be made, however if there is a glitch in the system as Colston36 seems to think then we need to look at it.

I can see the normal banning logs. All of them are showing as banned. I certainly haven’t noticed a banned person being able to continue to post when banned..
I don’t know if people are viewing older posts where they have been banned but obviously their comments are still showing

That's what I thought so Colston36 can also see when a person was banned and he needs to show where someone has posted after the time they were banned.
