Everyone reacts differently to being violated, some can keep a cool head and walk away, some stand there ground. If you're furious with the SP for what has just taken place, and you see the money on the side, you might just grab it, 300 BTW,  its not small change to part with given what just took place.

He's not blameless. He should have left some money and he's a volatile/weird character (what person with half a brain wants to risk getting arrested at a punt?).

But I'm not sure on what basis you say his version of events is not credible - you're leaning too far in one direction now. 30 minutes in the apartment and only 5 minutes of sex (which admittedly, he should have paid something for) means something obviously went badly wrong with the booking. I don't find anything incredible about his claim that she would not engage and was time wasting. How he handled it is another thing - he should have either left within a couple of minutes, or left behind half the money.

When I didn’t jump to attention Amber just went full psycho and started screaming and when I said she should give me my money back she went apoplectic and started with the threats. I went to pick the money up and said I should keep all the money as she’d been so awful which led to her attacking me, I just went for the door to protect myself and her and left with all the money. The situation was so out of control due to Amber’s bullying actions that coming to any other solution seemed impossible and I just left.

This could be my worst experience with a SP and it’s not something I ever want to repeat.
