Arranged a 2 hour booking at her place in Ilkeston the night before via text. She’s asked for a text following morning to confirm - sent. No reply.

Gambled and made my way up. Got there with 10mins to spare - no response via phone. Left a text. Rang once every 10mins till half past the hour I booked at - still no response

Phone went straight to voicemail so either was on another call (unlikely) or had it turned off (most probably).

I would have accepted if she’d text before if there was an issue so I didn’t waste a trip and my time but nothing like that was forthcoming

You shouldn't have gone bro to be honest. Very annoying of course but you didn't get the text to confirm. Still, very bad practice which I have left a neg for in the past.

Yeah massively dropped the ball on that one - so much for the benefit of the doubt. Wiser now though

Yeah, no confirmation and I wouldn’t have left the house... still annoying, but avoidable.

Plan B’s usually are shit as well...if it’s any consolation I went once and haven’t returned...

+ 1 Just treat it as a learning curve OP - never leave house on day of planned punt until you have recd either the confirmation text or call from the SO

She’s got previous form for doing this.

Did it to me a bout a year or two ago... I’d travelled all the way from Sheffield. Got there and then radio silence. Was more than pissed off!
