I was kind of expecting a lot more choice in general, ie lots of independent girls on furlough looking to make use of dull home time. Obviously no one has been going to bars and not many other social events so I expect that to go up a bit particularly with lots of single people. I wonder what students are up to these days confined to having to shag those in the same building!

Rates on AW have gone up also to unrealistic levels. If anything I would have thought that rates would come down.

Perhaps most people are taking this covid thing more seriously than you obviously are?  Anyone concerned about the consequences of catching it, either for themselves, their friends and family, are unlikely to be starting up as a prossie, even during gaps between lockdowns.

It is certainly a conundrum as to why some SP's are charging more during these troublesome times. Like others i would have expected a decrease in the hope of attracting business.
It has been well over a year (more like 16 months to be exact) since my last punt. Hence no reviews as yet and I really would like to contribute more.

The cheaper end of the market has remained steady in price and usually back to back workers anyway, others though may have decided to see less for more money or had a drop in footfall and upped prices to cover this.
Less competition does not help matters but people must be paying the higher fees or they would soon drop again.

The "available today" could very well apply to online services like webcaming or phone calls, I see nothing wrong with that. You should also know that this is a paid-for feature (or so I've been told by an SP), so if you don't see it, that doesn't mean that the girl is not available at all. Many simply choose not to pay to have that mentioned.

If they are available for cam work only the green light states  " available for webcam "", Available today is clearly aimed at the girl being available to escort. The revenue is the reason they will not drop it even though it suggests breaking rules. 6 quid plus vat and another quid plus vat for the phone number, so I was told,  adds up to a big daily income.

2 I have no proof but I suspect that most in Government ,both partis.local and national are quite fond of WG
3The majority are still receiving furlough or have student grants and have less expenses at the moment ,as long as they can control their shopping habits
4If furlough get ended or considerably reduced,that is when we will see a big rise in the number of WG

I’m not convinced.

1) we don’t know and there aren’t male SPs to compare, all we are doing is comparing now to pre-Covid - many are but I’m this isn’t the most regulated and professional of ‘professions’
2) possibly but don’t think this would transfer to policy
3? Furlough is still lower pay and students are still paying the same.

Agreed for homegrown talent.  However, for the last decade or more, the vast majority of WGs have been overseas imports, lately from Romania and Brazil in particular for the lower end of the market.

Those old enough to have experienced a time when we were almost totally reliant on homegrown talent (before Poland joined the EU) will know why I consider it a nightmare scenario for punting.

perhaps it is due a good number of the overseas groups returning home as a lot of younger acquaintances returned home at the beginning and a lack of new arrival with all the new travel restrictions
