I visited this shop twice during 2020 when transmission was much lower. The first review would have been positive but it was too long ago and I wasn't a member then. Happy to discuss it in replies.

This visit was in November. Comms were straightforward - a couple of text messages back and forth to check availability and to confirm a time. The shop is on a busy street but there's usually parking. You enter to an odd open curtained area that has some mattresses. It looks great, except it's right by the door out on to the high street. Behind there is a corridor with private rooms and a toilet. I paid £40, did a temperature check and washed my hands. I was asked to undress and get on the table. This is a more conventional wooden fold-out massage table rather than a sturdier purpose built block. I prefer the bigger blocks, but it was comfy enough.

Big advantage over some other shops - the room was warm and comforting. My therapist came in - masked and in a black robed outfit. In her 30s I would guess, slim and very friendly. Some polite chit chat about the world and its problems, then I switched off and left her to it. She didn't say her name, but she was definitely either a visitor or a secondary therapist.

Unfortunately, the massage was poor. She began with a neck and shoulder massage that was okay but I was ready for it to be over and moved on to my back and legs. Lots of random finger prodding work that wasn't finding knots - just... prodding. Then she moved to my back, but back to the neck. Then my legs... and back to the neck! So many times just these random prods on my neck. I've said before on another post but I ultimately go to a massage shop for the massage. Anything else is secondary and only follows from a good massage. So I was already disappointed and just ready to leave.

Turned over, and she then massaged my neck again round the back of my head. All mildly uncomfortable. Then she gradually massaged my thighs to clearly get me stood to attention, but I wasn't in the mood to hand over £20. So she finished with a head massage, and I was on my way.

I'd consider returning as my first visit here was more enjoyable, but it's just luck of the draw sometimes with who is working and how they're feeling.

I have visited the shop many time. If you want a firm massage then ask for Anna.
Sue gives a more relaxing style.
It is important that you tell the masseuse what you want to avoid disappointment. It can take a couple of visits to let them understand what you like or dislike.

It's important that the masseuse fulfils her primary purpose, ie to provide a proper massage.

The OP's comments indicate that it was neither firm or relaxing .... Just meh!

Exactly. If I'd wanted a firm massage and got soft or vice versa then fair enough, but no good massage has "random prodding of the neck" as its core component!

Surely "Pryd y neck" massage, the Welsh/English massage does?
