Paradise Sauna???

I passed what used to be Paradise Sauna at Roseburn earlier today and noticed it is now been painted purple and is called Regency, does anyone know if this is another sauna??

I know paradise was one off the places which had issues over licensing last year

Another regime change, according to ad in evening paper. At least one of the old staff, nicky has moved to Blair st, and possibly a girl called Kelly, unless she is another Kelly altogether.

Now that all the licencing has been abandoned there should be no reason to close at 10pm.

Good to see that Hanah, Amy and Sasha still ply their trade in Ambassadors, they've worked their for a good 2-3 years now. It's just a pity that the blonde receptionist doesn't work because she looks like she'd be great fun, it's maybe just because she's unavailable that gives her that wee but extra though lol

Probably the dodgiest place i have ever been in.  Had listening devices in rooms and the lounge.

Interested to see what develops at Regency, though a little close to home.
But Ambassador does not deserve any praise on this forum, always been open late, walked in twice and walked straight back out again......what a terrible establishment, and it has so much potential......but god it has got it so wrong

One major prob with the paradise is the location, very public, though the old management let u leave by the fire exit. To be honest 2 excellent saunas,,blair st and the new town,,should offer anyone enough choice, without risking your cash on possible disappointment.

For info:  Those of old may remember that Paradise Sauna was previously known as the Regency and before that the Roseburn Sauna.  Used to have a long haired brunette called Linda there (mid to late 80s)who was an absolute star.  It all went downhill mid 1990s.

Just for curiosity, popped my head in the door there today. Used to be 15 quid for 30 mins at the door, fair enough considering it's so out-of-the-way I thought. It's now jumped to 25 quid (35 for hour), making it the most expensive in Edinburgh in that respect. Needless to say I didn't hang around.

Looks classier following the rebranding and a bit less like a sauna so the non locals won't know what you are up to

I dunno, Blair Street has a bloody great CCTV camera-on-a-pole at the bottom looking up the hill recording all the punters coming and going, I find that more unnerving personally.
