Question about the maintenance of your account

I've just joined recently and I was just wondering how often you would need be on the website, especially when it comes to providing reviews and mingling with others before you're told by a moderator that you will be taken off the website.

Well, a direct copy and paste from the site rules:

27 Lurking / Dormant Accounts
Members that do not contribute Reviews or where their accounts become dormant may have their membership revoked.

It leaves out specifics over what constitutes a dormant account, so if you're intent on keeping your account active, log in when you can, post a few comments, and put up a review when you have visited a WG. Then you should be alright. I'm sure I've went months without logging in and my account has been fine.

There are people that have been on here for years with only a couple posts and no reviews.  Your already doing better than them so i wouldnt worry about it too much.  Besides, once you start getting more hooked on the hobby you will be drawn here more and more often.

Thank you for asking the question, I too have recently joined, having not been able to for a while, but unfortunately due to health and regional tier issues i'm not sure when i will be able to punt and review next, so will watch this thread for replies.

We have relaxed the rules for new members to allow Reviews up to 12 months after the booking so you can add any punts before the lockdowns kicked in.

There are people that have been on here for years with only a couple posts and no reviews.  Your already doing better than them so i wouldnt worry about it too much.  Besides, once you start getting more hooked on the hobby you will be drawn here more and more often.

I was thinking similar, plenty who actually have a lot of posts but don't punt and also offer no useful contribution.

As a general comment I think it's refreshing to see a lot of the new members popping up with reviews

I’m with tho OP on this. My pre marriage history was about punting. Then when freedom/divorce happened so did lockdown! Thankfully registered now but won’t be able to review or provide valid historical reviews until we get some normality back, hopefully then I will contribute reviews as well as comments.

I use the main AW site / not the App.
Cut n paste both her name and aw number address which is towards the bottom of every profile just below her prices
On an I phone it is very easy to highlight and copy.

Paste this onto the top line of your review so we can index without having to scroll down and read a load of fluffy shit

One thing i have noticed, is that the AW profiles can have name changes, but not ID number changes, so if you are only going to include one of the links, make sure it's the one with the AW ID number

We index using the number
But it doesn’t  take any longer to cut and paste both so best to do both because:
Different WG may use same profile managed by pimp. They only verify one WG - can get confusing if you don’t include the name.
WG change their numbers with only slight change to their name. Happens because they get locked out of their account, gets hacked, forget password, get neg feedback. Using the name helps bring up more hits when doing searches.

Also get in the habit of posting both on posts not just reviews so we are all clear which WG you are talking about and again your comments come up in searches.

One tip I will give any 'newbies' is if mods are dealing with any issues don't get involved, it won't end well.

I have some historic reviews I can give but a bit patchy on the dates as some happened 6 months ago and I wasn't recording anything as I wasn't sure if this site would ever open - I presume its acceptable to just give a range of say March-June 2020?

Yes mate you can post reviews form up to 12 months ago, don't worry about exact dates most reviewers don't post exactly when the punt was. It's the content of the review that counts.

I don't think it would be considered odd given the circumstances. I've seen people knock out multiple reviews in 1 day, you will probably be praised by most members for it.
