I also fall for Roms, a mistake that I repeat over and over every time the pickings get slim. I try my best to read the signs, and then I try my best to walk if there are red flags. But if I do proceed, at least I limit myself to no more than 30 minutes. And I know some others who limit themselves to 15 minute quickies. This reduces the amount of damage, should it be a bad punt, which it's very likely was to be. So,
you might impose a 30 minute limit for yourself as an added layer of protection for any girls you don't know, should your little-head take over and prevent you from walking.
I'm actually getting desperate enough at the moment to consider Roms, and I'm finding that several are trying to lure me into an hour booking. But I know it's a trap, so I'm holding fast to 30 minutes, and confirming services beforehand. Even then, I know it's a high risk of terrible attitudes, and maybe still even outright denial of services.
