Can recommend Line of Duty wholeheartedly

. Brilliantly conceived and written, twists and turns a-plenty, wonderfully acted. Stunningly good.
If you're anything like me, watching on iPlayer meant I just kept watching as one episode ended with a cliffhanger, and the next one started. Stock up with popcorn

.
Absolute top quality home-produced drama IMO, which actually genuinely rivals anything produced in the US. Yes, really.
And I hate to say it, but even 'good stuff' you see on TV now, good writers, big budget and all the rest, so frequently features 'hidden messages' and virtue signalling, that my eyes roll over and I just want to turn over. I really hate to say it but it's true. Apart from finding it offensive having it rammed down my throat every five minutes, I find it deeply patronising.
There's no need for it, and Line of Duty is proof of that. From start to finish a seven year run, a diverse cast, no stereotyping, realistic gender balance, no 'point scoring'. Just sheer TV drama joy.
