I have every sympathy with "Countryface" as I had a similar tirade of abuse from "Skippy" when daring to ask for info along the same lines myself.

Clearly "Skippy" has some kind of power complex and thinks he has the say on who says or posts what.

Given this I would suggest "a sandwich short of a picnic" is a somewhat kinder description than could have been suggested.

It's worth also noting you talk about "members being fed up with spongers" despite the fact that I have received no adverse comments from anyone but you and the aforementioned "Skippy". That's 2 out of how many hundreds of members. Hardly a huge majority! Indeed there were or two perfectly helpful and polite comments earlier in the thread.

Of course there is no rule about how many reviews you have to post . davie has already made you aware of the rules, but you seem to be ignoring them completely:

You've been lurking for years and contributed no reviews (and I can't be bothered to go back and look because you are simply not worth it) but I think you even suggested you'd actually punted since your membership here...but with no review forthcoming.

Isn't it obvious that without contributors this site, and other similar ones, wouldn't exist.

It's really not that hard to post a couple of reviews, just a report on how it went, vfm, services offered, accuracy of profile etc. It's all subjective anyways so someone's stunner is someone else's also ran. But at least, with reviews and comments / questions people can make an informed choice, and then report back accordingly.
If it means we all get better punts, and and weed out the ones that don't tick my boxes (but may appeal to others) then I'm all for it. My punting experience has massively improved since I found this site, so it's a small price to pay to give a little back. It's like a cooperative, bit without the stamps! 

Also, on a more personal note, vw assisted me earlier in the year, with some online disagreements. I didn't ask, but he entered the discussion, attained the facts, from both sides, in open forum, to aid the discussion for others. That was appreciated and I believed helped others too.

Finally, thanks, as always to head1, admin, the helpers andd posters. I hope you all have a good year.
Leeches, I accept it can be dawnting making a first post / review but trust me, it's a much better place if you are part of it, than just taking out. Think of it like a bank account, if you are just taking out, you will eventually run out of credit. A deposit (no punting pun intended!) once in a while goes a long way.
