External Link/Members OnlyI’d arranged to see Obscene Queen for an hour's incall at 11am. I had suggested a daytime session on the day in question in an AW message half a week earlier, but she waited until 1am on the day itself to message back that yes, she would be free.
I'm a night owl so I saw the message, proposed the time, she agreed to it, and I said I'd double-check with her in the morning.
I rang her at about 9:45 am but she said she couldn’t be ready after all. Could I make it 12 noon? I thought, "here we go" but said OK.
When I rang again at 11:15 (from my local station platform ready to get on the train) she said, sorry, she couldn’t be ready for noon either, could we make it 1 pm, or at a push 12:30?
I said no. I told her she was messing me about, it was too many red flags and I was calling the whole thing off. I ended the call and turned off the phone.
I saw later she'd apologised in a text and claimed she was moving house that week and her landlady had turned up unexpectedly. Could that be true? It's not impossible but I’ve heard the exact same excuse from disorganised WGs before.
This will be the third UKP negative from bookings which Obscene Queen has contrived to mess up. At least I didn't turn up at the venue and get radio silence like the other guys. The one UKP punter who did see her gave her a positive, but for someone in her location who thinks she's worth £180 an hour, she really needs to sharpen up her act.
