Athens, Now..

Hi fellas..

I've had a search however some lengthy posts from last year about Athens..

Can anyone share some key suggestions please..
I'm experienced with punting Indies and massages but if anyone can suggest some massage places (seen a cool nuru place online), or recommend a parlor (never been to a parlor)

Also i don't quite understand the 'white light' thing.

Your timing couldn't really be worse. The brothels, studios etc have all gone into lockdown today for 3 weeks

Very interesting development in Greece covid-wise in that people are required to text to register for permission to go outside according to Sky News.

Most unfortunate for visitors there at the moment. No idea if foreigners are to be treated differently.

OP - if you go down to the usual spots around Metaxiourgo and Filis, look out for the madams loitering around on the street. If you can convince them you're not an undercover they will slip you in 

Otherwise wait it out for 3 weeks

Do you have current first hand knowledge in Athens?? Are you there now?

There’s always the chance of just being sensitive to madams on the street, as you say. I’d maybe point out though that the madams that hang out on the side streets between Omonia and Metaxourgio, unlike the regular white areas, are dodgy as fuck.

Yes, I'm in Athens. As you say this only works if you're staying in or around these areas. OP could go for a run as exercise and have no issue passing through those streets. Also, unlike last lockdown, I've noted less police presence enforcing the rules fwiw.

I'm usually a frequent visitor but haven't been during pandemic.

'Dodgy madams' ... the only characters soliciting that I would consider dodgy are the ones I've come across (mostly Chinese-looking) are the ones along Socratous (parallel to the main street from Omonia to Metaxourgio, north side). That's why I was specific.

Madams connected to the white lights I've found invariably pleasant and never the least dodgy. The areas are also pretty safe at night, contrary to some people's thoughts.

Have you visited the white lights or studios during lockdown? Any changes? Are people wearing masks in the waiting rooms? Thanks again for your info.

Ah yes I see what you mean now. Have only dealt with the Greek madams myself and like you say they're pleasant and the areas themselves are safe, despite looking run down and dodgy. Fair few druggies around but they don't bother anyone.

Im 15-20 mins away in Faliro so too much of a risk for me to venture down during lockdown. I visited the white lights a day before Greece went into full lockdown (the original plan was for only bars, restaurants, clubs and brothels to shut till a sudden spike in cases). Thats when I spoke to a madam who let me through and let me know they'll be working in secret.

Even before lockdown was announced, everyone is wearing masks in the waiting rooms. Some girls even give you a squirt of hand gel before getting to work. Service itself hasn't changed- girls don't seem worried at all, despite rumours on Bourdela during the last lockdown that only certain positions would be allowed.

Rumblings of lockdown extension after the 3 weeks are up... I sure hope not!
