Made a call, which was not answered, but got an immediate text reply with info, sorted the logistics via some texting back and forth, then parked up on time for the punt.
For context, this was when hotels had just started opening up, post lockdown.EvaJayne told me via text to go in, and to the left in the lobby, but that didn't lead to the lifts just to a stairwell past the bar, when I turned around the staff noticed I was confused and intercepted me immediately 😒

The main problem was that the lobby was empty so all the staff (there were 5 of them) had the time to keep a close eye out and I couldn't slip away.
If the EvaJayne had said to me, "Walk past reception and then left to the lifts" I'd've thought that I would've been fine. Instead she told me to "go left to the lifts", however in the lobby there is an immediate left you can take past a bar, which I did 😑, I asked EvaJayne about this when I did finally meet up with her, and she told me that if you walk even close to reception, then the staff intercept you straight away 😬 So not knowing the layout of the hotel fucked me up 😒
This particular hotel was not a good choice of venue, but I can't really blame EvaJayne for that, and to her credit she offered to do an outcall to me, even for the 15min booking 👍 I declined, as I cannot host discreetly.

A discreet privately rented apartment. It was clean, modern and very minimalist, which for punting is pretty good. Parking in the area is non existent other than the NIA official car park, which was 10mins walk from the apartment.
