One of the worst experiences EVER.

So by some bizarre twist of fate I was stuck in Crawley. I was on my way to Haywards Heath but due to Covid- 19 Train issues  I was in this strange town which I am not at all familiar with.

My friend told me that this place ( they have one in East Croydon which I have also been to which was very very bad ) who also told me this was very bad but I was caught in tough spot and Felt like a massage so called and directed to a location of shop which is located in a super non discreet shop front next to Nationwide Bank.

Comms : Called number … My Polish and Chinese made for an interesting conversation.

Before:

I park in car park but before approaching store front I notice a few punters hanging around but being questioned by what I thought were tourists asking for directions.

I had booked a session with girls available Linda and shuffled past. I buzz the door outside ……No answer. I buzz again …..no answer. Before I open the door a gentleman who describes himself as an undercover immigration offices waves a card and asks me some questions.  My heart starts racing as I expect to get arrested ( silly I know) and I try and keep my cool as 2 police cars pulls up and blocks my exit at the car park. I take a few deep breaths and calm myself as they proceed to ask me questions about the ladies inside  - how often? Who am I seeing? How did I find out about the place…and mention that they done a raid and arrest last year and if I was aware around the legal rules of being with forced ladies and illegal workers etc ! I am made it clear that I had not even entered the building yet for which they were understanding about but made it clear that they were watching the place and had been. They even told me that there was a more’ legitimate’ service round the corner run by a Thai Family .  I thanked them and I promised them that I just wanted a sports massage as I had just finished helping my builders move some gear around.

Anyway, so I go in as I had nothing to hide.

Did not mention to the lady I saw but proceeded to have the worst massage ever. All the girls I saw walking around upstairs were below par and looked like rakes . The girl I saw  looked bored and not interested. She was going through the motions  during the massage and asked me for ‘£40’ constantly which was annoying. Because of all the above I was not in the mood when asked to turn over given the state of the girl and the tough sales approach.

All in all – DO NOT GO & AVOID. Service Bad and a chance of getting caught up in a raid. East Croydon Branch also poor. I understand that things are slow given the covid-19 down turn but the standard and constant questions were enough to put me off for good.

Sounds like unlikely rubbish really.  Why would an undercover immigration officer break cover? If the police were worried about the place why didn't they simply raid it?

As for the girls knowing, if they did it explains the service

It is not rubbish. I wouldn't lie about something like this. The service was bad enough without having to make something like this up!

It was very unsettling. I went in as I wanted to demonstrate that I had nothing to hide. I was also so shaken up that I was not sure if I was recorded as there are cameras everywhere inside...

The officials said that they had to investigate one of the ladies last year due to complaints but couldn't share any more information. The police station is pretty close so I imagine they gets lots of visits. My VISA is all good so no issues there.

I didn't ask the girl inside  because her English was very bad and she would not have understood. Also the place has a really weird setup as there is no reception just a staircase that leads to the rooms so there was nobody to talk to. The lady who organised on the phone was in the Croydon branch.

No Polish plates.

The service was similar in East Croydon although that was pre covid.

So what nationality was she?

I never said she didn't speak or understand Chinese.

She was very much Chinese.

The point I was making was that my strong polish accent and her strong Chinese accent made for a bad combination.

Why would you need a visa if you are Polish

Not VISA for UK but VISA to travel to another country because i travel to other countries for work, so had VISA credentials in car. At first I suspected that they thought I was a Sergei or an illegal myself.

I think this place must have changed owners? This is the place where you go upstairs immediately you have been buzzed in through the door? I had a good time there a while ago and I reviewed it. Shame it's gone tits up (or down)

I was tempted to make a booking last week, did text but they didn’t come back to me until 9pm at night. Glad I avoided going now.

There are two separate shops I believe. This one which is opposite the car park and another one up the side street ‘The Pavement’. Not sure if they are linked with same owner but if ones under investigation them the other one is.

I’m not a fan of going to these shops and try to avoid them as 9/10 of them are offering extras and on the local authority watch lost especially in smaller towns like CRAWLEY. Can’t think of anything worse being half way through a massage and it getting raided

Please clarify your comments about 2 shops and the local  authority.  Neither make sense.

So the other shop which was mentioned is around the corner opposite marks and spencers. It is a nail shop and salon and by all accounts is a legitimate outfit. it is next to a busy Cafe. The massage lady operates in a tiny room apparently but looks professional as it gets.

My bad experience - It's definitely the same place as described. As you walk in there is a staircase that takes you upstairs where there are a couple of rooms. There is not a reception area but a cash register in a room but do not believe anyone sits there.

I stayed at Crawley just over a year ago, contacted a massage place in the Boulevard when I got there noticed it was being watched so didn't go in. 
Returned the next day same men watching in a different car so went to Tranquility Massage.  (have left a review)

Thats very vigilant of you. Yes it pays to llook around and see whats happening. And if things dont look right act on it. More importantly let the forum know.
