For rather obvious reasons, I've not really indulged fully (save a couple of massages with face masks worn) since early March

My poor whizzy fast car, purchased March, has more or less sat on my drive at home since the 17th March save for the occasional drive to M&S for food......1,200 miles in 7 months

So, I've decided to take the plunge & will drive to Tyneside later today, indulge myself in a proper punt, stay at my regular hotel overlooking the Tyne (well, it used to be regular when I was working), head out for a couple of beers and, further indulge myself in a proper punt tomorrow, before heading back down the A19 / A1 tomorrow.

Wish me well chaps,
toodle pip :hi:

Hope the punt goes well. On a sad note concerning the beers I'd heard the crown pasada has closed.

Great stuff FB when you were working you would have done those miles in just over a few hours  :sarcastic: :sarcastic:

Hope your punting goes well you deserve a treat after so long and a few pints to end the night, last year I would visit one of allure's girls on a Thursday night at a flat on Newcastle quayside and head to spoons over the road for a bite to eat and a few pints ...........happy days

looking forward to finding out how it goes  :hi:

Without wishing to be gross - some poor lady (soon to be revealed) did indeed receive a huge load - about 4.5 weeks worth - I've never seen a mouth so full - poor girl  :vomit:

Some of my favourite haunts in Newcastle, closed:

Crown Posada
High Bridge
Bacchus

Still, I made it out to the Tynebank Brewery Tap & the one next door (full circle I think) and finished off in the Bridge

Not just Concorde, it's all BA aircraft, think it was taken form the old logo they had years ago when they were BOAC that was a speedbird. I'm a PPL (Rotary) and heard it a few times over comms.
