I have a weekend in Edinburgh in a couple of weeks and was considering visiting a sauna for the first time.

I was wondering if anyone could give me any information on how discreet they are as well as what to expect once I'm in there.

Would also like to know which one is best to visit.

My rough guide would be.
BSS (Blair Street Sauna) and LSS (London Street Sauna) are the best.
BSS – DFK, OWO, CIM pay extra
Scottish, Polish ect…

LSS – No DFK or OWO
Good looking Romanians

You pay at the door £25 for 45 minutes, have a shower and sit in the lounge. Pick a girl whenever you want or sit in the sauna. All very civilised, just like being in hotel having a massage.
Very discreet because no one is bothered who goes in or out.

Yes, £25 at the door for 45 mins then pay the girl at the end £55 or £60.
Total for 45 mins is about £70 or £75
Total for  1h is about £100 or £105

You can go for 30 mins also.

Sauna girls are not all ugly, think SamScott on wind up. Much more likely to get a fit bird from a choice in a sauna than on AW, unless v good reviews. May not get same service though Blair St pretty good for looks and service,as per comments below, add Vivienne plus Roberta maybe to that list( Paula no longer so slim but still good) and London St Sauna has a v good selection of lookers but maybe too many of them grumpy Romanians who just lie there and take it.

I second this post, I cannot understand why Romanian girls are so unfriendly and such big liars!  My experience with Romanian girls is very negative, and I have read many other punters here making same negative comments about Romanian girls many of whom lie about their nationality to hide their Romanian origin.  What the hell is their problem!!

I always prefer independent wg. I do my homework then decide which wg girl to go for. Some indie girls in glasgow do cim + owo + fk for £60 HH which i think is much better value than saunas (from prices above). I am going to edinburgh in the next couple weeks and want to visit BSS, this is my first sauna visit. Do i need to phone the place first before i go in or do i just show up at the door? Thanks

Okay £25 to get in the sauna for 45mins and let say the girl offer the whole shebang; owo + fk + cim for £60 HH, you just spend £85 for 30mins sex. Can you lot not see that? The fact i dont get is why the hell do i really want to pay £25 just to use the sauna i.e. jacuzzi and shower?? i'll pop in to scotstoun leisure centre if i really want a dip in jacuzzi, I just like to see my money to go further. 

I will definately visit one of the saunas for the "experience" when am down there but i still see independent WGs better value if you do your research. Yes some people here will say its time consuming...., but if you're single like me have nothing but time and money indies all the way.

The new town and blair st are 70 for half an hour, carols is cheaper. In a sauna you can sit in the lounge making your mind up about the girls. Ive visited about 20 independants, not one has offered me a shower, and post punt, you get to wash your cock in the sink, don't imagine many of the independants shower afterwards. Only downside of saunas is the risk of being seen going in, or leaving.

The clock doesn't start ticking until you have entered the room with the girl. So it's £85 for 45mins and IIRC 100 for the hour.
With this you get a drink, clean towel, shower before and after, sauna and  choice of girl (for the time paid) with guaranteed "likes". All in a safe and clean environment - unless you go to Scorpio.


Independents- nightmare to book. Even when booked it can fall through. May not be the person you think, may get mugged, may not get all "likes" it's all fraught with unknowns and risk etc etc and you pay average over £100. No thanks.

No surprise I'm with Bob, Willie and Sammy on this one. They've said it all really.

Sauna downsides are much outweighed by the positives and vice versa for indies. Having said that, I've been having a bit more luck with Glasgow indies of late but, in a way, that's the point; it's luck.

I haven't been in many saunas in ages, but I went to Blair Street twice back in May. Had a fantastic few punts with Heidi. Came the second time, but not the first. I have difficulties staying relaxed at times due to feeling nervous, which can be off putting, so I want a few regulars. Although the first time I guess I'm just the easing myself into the situation. Many punts I've had have been better if the chemistry is there. It's rare though that I book a random girl and it goes well. Heidi I guess is a rare breed.

I tend to go to Carol's these days, mix of girls, mostly Scottish & not had a bad punt yet.  Dundas not quite so good.  These are convenient for me which is why they get nod over the others mentioned.
