Author Topic: Whats the worst that could happen from safe-sex std wise?  (Read 3046 times)

If the escort doesn't do bareback, is hygienic and very well reviewed. And I make sure there is no other direct contact of genitals or mouths (other than DFK).

Whats the worst that could happen? Would there be a situation where I wouldn't be able to go to work for a few days? I wouldn't want anyone to find out.

Forgot to add, I'm only mainly concerned about privacy and for the next one month...will have my own place after that. Is there something that would make me walk funny or make me very ill?  :scare:
Sorry if this looks troll ish.

Herpes and genital warts are passed from skin to skin contact so condoms don't prevent them.  The skin around your genitals will be on contact with the skin around hers so if she had either you could get them.  There is also a very small chance of catching them from non genital contact if she is shedding the virus through her skin it is not common but it does happen

Even DFK carries risk of chlamydia and gonorrhoea (sp) is she has either in the mouth or throat

There is no guaranteed risk free way of punting unless you just go and wank yourself and don't touch her in any way

Some risks are very small and some are not and each person has to decide which risks they are willing to take.  If you want no risk at all then don't punt

If you are that bothered about the risk, then don't punt. It's not for the paranoid person.

Wouldn't there be some visual signs if someone had herpes or genital warts?

Offline CBPaul

eh?

No direct contact, do you mean not have sex, oral etc - in which case why bother.
Or do you mean you intend to hermetically seal yourself before action ?

I think masturbation may be your best option.

Not always as Herpes sores can go for quite a while but some people can still shed the virus when they do not have the actual symptoms
warts can be visible or non visible especially in the anal area or just inside the vaginal passage.  After all you don't take a magnifying glass to her bits do you or have a good look inside

Haven't punted much at all this year, was just beginning to try and find an escort for the weekend but this thread has now put me off.

You could DIE!!!

Really! You could contract HIV and die.

However, the risks of this happening, although possible, are miniscule.

As others have indicated, if you have low threshold for risk, don't punt.

Why? Most of us take our sexual health very seriously and I know if I got a non curable STI then I would quit this job for fear of transmitting it.  Most girls I would hope would be the same.
You probably have more risk with a casual pick up as civvie girls do not visit the GUM as often as they should

There is a risk in every sexual act but you can cut them down enough that you feel comfortable in going ahead.

In terms of protected sex the risks of stis are practically zero apart from herpes and hpv which has been said. Unprotected oral can be slightly risky but not very much so. I guess its the risk you take, which is minimal might I ad. For serious things like hiv of course there is a risk but ive seen studies where 1000's ( yes thousands) of couples were tested. One partner having hiv and the other being negative. They all performed unprotected oral on each other for years but used condoms for sex. The negative partner never once contracted the virus. Even from condom slips its something like a 1/1000 chance for the insertive partner!
Il look for the studies if anyone is interested but hiv is a minimal almost non existant risk unless you sre the reciever or giver of bareback anal.
Im not saying theres no risk of stds because of course their is.
use a condom for penatrive sex and have fun!
Sorry for the long post but I thought id contribute as I was scared shitless of stds before I properly researched them myself! :-)

That's completely untrue and it's unwise to give such advice.  If your statement were true, then why would the NHS GUM clinics up and down the country spend so much money on punters? - they routinely test us for a variety of STIs and offer expensive courses of hepatitis B vaccinations to all of us even though the majority of us practice safe sex.  I got to the clinic every three months, I tell the nurse that I've had fully-protected sex with a couple of WGs and I'm offered a full suite of STI tests - for: chlamydia; gonorrhoea; syphilis; HIV and hepatitis.
Sorry to come over as pedantic but in my opinion, the only sensible answer to a question about STI risks that ever comes up on here, is to refer to the official advice from the NHS:
http://www.nhs.uk/Livewell/STIs/Pages/Sexualactivitiesandrisk.aspx
Even better advice is to talk directly to the staff at an NHS GUM clinic in person.

By the way I am like the OP in that I take the same precautions and I never go for OWO.  At my local GUM clinic I was told that I could still catch an STI as some can be spread from skin to genital contact - e.g. if the girl plays with her pussy and then tosses you off with the same hand afterwards (with gonorrhoea being the most likely).  Not trying to be a scaremonger but there is always a small risk with any kind of sex, no matter how safe and that's why we all need to be tested regularly.

You keel  over with a heart attack half way thorough the event, the prossie empties your wallet, takes your driving licence details to blackmailing you at a later date, and dresses you in her underwear before dragging you into the street and calling the police. STD's? The least of your worries

I dont see how what I said is untrue and irresponsible.
if the sex is protected and condoms are used properly then the risk for stis are almost 0 barring hpv and herpes. The op asked whats the risk for protected sex.
The likelyhood of catching things from skin contact apart from these are almost 0.
I agree there is always a risk and some stds are much more easily tramsmitted ie chlamydia over hiv.
Think of the ammount of punters on here and punters in general. If stds were so easy to transmit then every tom dick and harry would have one.
just use condoms and be sensible.

I'll back up my statement by saying that a simple search on here will reveal that people have reported catching STIs from punting and bear in mind that only a tiny minority would ever admit to this.  But let's agree to disagree on the stats shall we as I don't know where you're getting them from! (Actually I suggest you stop quoting them if you don't have the sources to back them up).
But can we at least agree though that the right place to seek sexual health advice is from a professional, and not from some random fucking stranger on the Internet?!?!

I agree with you though, no matter what knowledge people have on here of anything to do with this you should really talk to a doctor or somebody qaulifed to give information.

I with you on this, but we shouldn't be complacent and every WG and punter should have regular check-ups.  If STI's were rife amongst the P4P scene, I'm sure WG's wouldn't be offering such services as DFK,OWO and RO.  This was kind on conveyed to me on my last visit to the GUM clinic that the risk of catching anything from a WG was low as it wasn't in there interests to infect their clients.

You have no way of knowing IF a WG does BB and with whom, all you have is what her profile says, what other punters might tell you and what she might tell you, all of which isnt proof of what she MIGHT get up to. There is no such thing as safe sex with a complete or virtual stranger. Clearly using a condom for penetration is safer than not so its all about assessing the risks as you see them.

You COULD die of AIDS is obviously the worst case scenario however unlikely that might be its still a possibility as is catching other STIs. As ever punting isnt for the squeamish, i punt on a risk to reward basis fully realising i have no idea what a WG might of done with others, and i back that up with ensuring i look after my own health by getting tested at the GUM.

My advice to punters really concerned about getting infected is if that concern outweighs the fun and sex offered by punting dont bother punting in the first place.
