I do not think they consider all aspects of the venue when they open. I visited Kat at her new premise in Slater st before she opened. I stood upstairs in her "best room" and looked out of the window straight at the Jacaranda opposite. I had visions of dozens of drinkers outside in the nice weather commenting on punters coming and going. I did not have the heart to tell her my thoughts on the total lack of discretion. It would take a brave man than me to visit in the summer particularly with other premises much more discreet in Liverpool city centre.
