Bought a bottle of Gordon's Mediterranean Orange gin last week. Not impressed. Hopefully the Sicilian Lemon bottle will be better.

Tried tanqueray rangpur? I like it a lot ... though their orange flavoured one is disgusting

I'm not usually a gin drinker, though I do quite like Gordon's Sloe gin. Those were bought on a whim that I'm already starting to regret. :D

Ive been drinking less this year for a number of reasons ... but during lockdown mainly pilsner urquel, the odd gin, and famous grouse if guzzling, or finishing off the bowmore, talisker and bushmills malt from christmas if i fancy a treat.

Got a bottle of decent rum for free as well, which has nearly gone.

Rochefort & Westvletern my favourites of the style though the latter is increasing difficult to procure.

Did you know that there is now an English Trappiste Brewery?  :hi:
Very nice it is too - Tynt Meadow.

Thanks for that, I will check it out.   :hi:

oh what was the question? oh yes Gin and Gin Oh and perhaps a bit of voddy#

Its time for the Elephant Joke
So, male elephant wanders up to the bar and sits down on a (very robust) stool and orders up an elephantine shot of vodka.
Having tossed that off he espies a she elephant several places down the bar. He shifts his seat in the shemale elephant's direction and orders up another massive shot.
This continues for some time, each time the elephant repeats his shuffle towards the she.

After a while the bar tender becomes concerned and asks what the bull elephant is doing.

Although not quite pissed the male elephant manages to say: "It's nothing, I'm just going down to the she in sips"

I'll get me coat

Tried quite a few different things mainly out of boredom. Sipsmith gin (not too bad if you have the right tonic).  Amsterdam vodka (very smooth),  amarula liqueur (like Bailey’s but better in my opinion). Estrella Galacia (only available at Waitrose and not cheap at £5 for 4 bottles but excellent quality lager).

I don’t see the reason to pay extra for things in Waitrose but their wine selection is top notch.
