Linked to the broader conversation around money saved during COVID 19 i wondered if anyone has spent on (normal) items with the money they didn't blow on WGs.

Personally with the money saved i've bought some AirPod Pros / AirPods (For the Mrs) / New Jet Wash for the Patio and am working towards a new iPad.

Never really added up the number spent before as i'm doing ok but this has provided some focus ... anyone else?

Probably saved around £300 given that I roughly spend on average £100 a month

Interesting to see fellow fuckers already returned to active duty. It will be quite a while before I am back in the saddle as I have a family member shielding.

I have saved a lot of money through not punting but offset this against the lock down completely killing my business. I face a realistic prospect I may never work again and have been restructuring my finances accordingly. Personally I foresee a huge downturn. I hope this will create a much more conducive punting market; more SP's, lower prices and hopefully even better service. That's where my savings will be going...

I have used some of the saving to replace my burner phone and buy some air pods. Still got healthy balance ready to spend when feel it is safe to return to ‘action’. Being an older guy remain concerned about when it will be safe. Normally I see Seeking girls who have other ‘day jobs’, so feel that they maybe less of a virus risk than girls from AW who are likely to see many punters each day.

I probably would have saved plenty if it wasn't for the new Mac, a new watch and generally buying lots of random crap off amazon

I'm also shielding, so as keen as I am to finally punt again, I have to keep reminding myself not to be reckless. Punts will be few and far between once I do start again, plus I'll probably try to avoid central London for a little while longer as I don't want to be using public transport any time soon.

It's difficult to say what I've saved not punting as I don't keep a record of what I spend.

As well as saving on not punting, I like a lot of others will have saved on other things such as not having legit massages, meals out, takeaways and visits to the pub.

Saying all that, at a guess I'd say I've saved £300 per month not punting...and taking that from the middle of March when I stopped doing most things I enjoy, I'd say I'm over £1000 better shielding my little trouser-friend. I'd probably double that amount with the savings made on avoiding legit activates too

I read that 12,000 people have been made redundant in the last 48 hours, furlough is winding down and employers are now making redundancies. For those fortunate enough to stay in work then yes they may have saved some money during lockdown but some will hold this back (almost inevitable recession and seemingly likely no deal Brexit). Think some WG’s might be overestimating demand!

True. But her assumption that punters will have money saved up shows lack of customer care which will most likely come across in her service. Hence, I wouldn't certainly see someone like that. my 'budget' is 600 a month and due to lots of reasons Jan was my last so the secret stash should be large (or would be if i hadnt gone shopping for stuff i wanted ) that and the fact no money coming in means that its pretty empty . My earnings for the rest of the year will be reduced by nearly 50% (if theres no more lockdowns ) . so i wont be paying more if any ..
