Good grief! Why are we getting worked up about profiles "disappearing" and appearing? It's not the Illuminati, a 5G, an anti-vaxxer or some other conspiracy theory forum.
Chaps, some women do this part time and have a full time career away from AW, strange though that may seem. Chill out!
And if you do this part time and don't want the hassle of hundreds (and yep, some women DO get hundreds) of voicemails when you're not free to work, then get grief for not returning them, then it's just plain common sense, and I would add, good old fashioned manners, for you and for everyone else involved to hide your profile for a week/month/whatever. Especially as many of us gentlemen seem to lose the ability to read a single sentence in caps at the top of a profile that states "I AM ON HOLIDAY". <<--- [this means you won't get a reply]
