Notepad, that creates txt files is considered a digital scrap of paper. I appreciate it could be seen as a leap. But this is what I do.
Its giving two options over what to do. A bit of physical paper, or a digital version of it that is supported by everything and only 2kb big.
Or just use 1password with a secure note across all devices. That is what I do.
