When this COVID19 bullshit is over, Im planning on going to one of the big porn awards in the USA AVN's or Exxxotica.

Has anybody been to one?, if so any advice and whats it like?

I know the Uk has the SHAFTA's and PR awards, but as I understand that those are industry only and are held in shitty little nighclubs with few z list celebs on the guest list.

Any info would be helpful

Any number of videos available for download or online viewing that will probably convince you it's not worth the waste of money unless you're just looking for an excuse to go gambling.  That said, you'd probably "win" more money by starting a youtube channel about burning your own money. (20% earnings (aka "winnings") to me for the idea)

The lap-dancing clubs are pretty much clip joints, big focus on the up-sell to VIP and over-priced drinks, especially during the conventions.  As soon as they sense you won't be dropping at least 3 figure sums per dance they go off the boil, that'll be the premier joints where the girls are best looking, fake or natural.  If you dare to try the dives further off-strip then jadedness and hard-worn quotients tend to escalate.  Always the chance you might meet a lovely who takes a shine to the accent or nice manners but don't expect that to get you far without the cash.

Cheers bro, I didn't know the lap dancing clubs were as bad as that, I thought a lot of the porn stars were headline acts at them and aslong you tipped regular you could sit at main stage and perv away.

A cab driver informed me that Sapphire Las Vegas regularly have porn stars making appearance and hold ‘porn party’ throughout the year.

I didn’t visit when I was there, but I know a pal who managed to have full sex with a dancer (non porn star), not sure how much he paid as I don’t discuss my ‘hobby’ with my friends.

But as mentioned I wouldn’t be surprised of price hike during AVN.
