When OldAdmin appointed moderators he posted a set of guidelines. The point is times change...Even he appreciated the forum was bigger than a select few, was he wrong?
Times have not changed. As that ethos was developed by Nik. That Admin carried forward on taking over in January 2013. Some really likeable founding members were banned during Niks ownership that we're bringing the forum down.
But let me also say, bringing the forum down, wasn't making a controversial post or two. It was things a lot more serious than this.
If people were banned from here by either Nik or oldAdmin due to a controversial comment or two, then, unfortunately, James would have been given the boot. As mixed in with his helpful posts on the mainboard. He would make a controversial comment or two inside offtopic. People like Jimmyredcab also made a controversial comment or two in offtopic.
However, what I will also say, I reminded oldAdmin about that very exact same ethos a few weeks ago given clear unadulterated trolls absolutely ruining the old sister site to here who do not punt at all that he now runs, and who are purposefully and intentionally derailing anyone's topics who try to discuss punting inside of them. And are forcing people off that forum in droves. Punters and Working girls. But he does not ban any of them.
There are around 30 separate reviews of those members doing it by people who've been forced out from there and name the culprits every time doing it. So it's not just me complaining about those members. Everyone is it seems.
However, before you say, that's different from here, that cannot be mentioned on here,
my point is, maybe oldAdmin saying that does not involve posting controversial comments, as if it did. Certain people would be long gone from that place by OldAdmin right now. Long gone.
The rules have been updated now. So everyone knows what you can and cannot do. I intend to follow them myself. Like I try and to on every mod advice you give me.
I am not trying to argue. That is just my honest take on it.
