A quick survey of my regulars, occasionals, and hotlist ladies has uncovered two (in about 5 minutes of browsing) who are openly offering appointments from next week. Various comments about limiting numbers, cleanliness etc., but no details bout limiting services. Both ladies I would normally regard as intelligent and responsible.

I may dig a little deeper to see what they're planning.

I think as mentioned above by numerous posters there is just so much uncertainty and essentially, it is going to come down to personal choice and how you feel you can minimise the risk not only to yourself, but the WGs and literally everyone you will come into contact with afterwards.

If it was just myself I'd be at my regulars probably already! But it isn't just me. And as mentioned previously too, the whole revolving door scenario that is the reality for so many of the girls means you just have no idea who has been there previously and what standards they are upholding.

I've been very lucky in that I've been able to work from home throughout all this. So far my work is making no noise at all about getting us back into the office. So in my head, if my employer isn't ready to call us back into a controlled office environment,  then I'm not ready to take a chance on a punt with so many uncontrolled variables.

When I do start back at the game, probably in the autumn or even later unless a vaccine miraculously appears, I have decided that I will be doing outcalls to my home. I live alone and am virus free so far, so I assume my house also is and the only risk would be with the girl herself, instead of going to another place where I would be unsure of touching any surfaces at all. As long as the girl showers on arrival there should be hopefully little risk of infection, obviously if the WG is in the early stages but infectious that's a different story but that could also happen with an incall to other premises where the structure itself would also be a risk.
I appreciate very many here are not in the position to do this and my heart is pumping pish for you!
Let's be careful out there! :timeout: :hi:

Same boat as you. But I don't want to bring hordes of woman to my place. Will stick to the 2 SB I managed to get to know before lockdown. Hopefully my wee man will be happy with them for a while.

In Feb there was only a single guy in UK with covid19 who came back from a skiing holiday, but fast forward 4 months and 40k now dead.  There only needs to be a single infected person in the UK for it all to flare back up again.  My household is going to remain keeping a very low profile until something along the lines of a vaccine comes along.  Ive got older parents so it would be unthinkable for the sake of a punt to pass covid to them.

Not disputing your main point but just to add that the "single person in February" theory seems to be being reassesed.

Apparently there were examples of people who were dying with unknown respiratory issues as far back as December 2019, they just did not know what it was.

Yes, apparently there were many 'patient ones' coming in from Italy, France, Chine etc. so the late, half-arsed lockdown, was quite literally a major killer.

What has to be investigated, among so many other examples of this Government's incompetence, is how many poor bastards died as a result of catching this at Cheltenham or in Liverpool as a result of the Champions League match sanctioned by these arseholes. Boris refused to stop shaking hands despite it being advised by the WHO and guess what?
No mistake about it the actions of this so called Government have killed thousands of people, when this is a bit calmer they must resign en masse and give us an election.  :diablo: :dash: :scare: :hi:

For me if you want a blanket date then when phase 4 as that will be when everything is back open.
Although I also think it should be when you think it is over and to me that will be when my area has had no new reported cases in 3 weeks.

Well, it certainly looks like England is going to be off the cards for quite a while. Boris's dumbfuckery is keeping the numbers high enough to frighten anyone off punting. The Scotland numbers, however, seem to be trending well and we could find punting is viable sooner than expected. On the other hand, I suspect Wee Nippy is going for the NZ model where there are no new cases and deaths before she loosens things up. She needs to get things moving before my baws burst.

Hospitality sector been told to prepare to re-open from 15th July in Scotland at the earliest... I believe England is 4th July at the earliest, all depending on how things go (R number etc)...

Strange you forgot to mention the SNP who allowed Rangers to play in the Europa league against a German side after the Liverpool game. They were also going to allow and Old Firm game the following Sunday. Maybe we need a Scottish election too?

I didn't think the Rangers v Leverkusen game should have went ahead either on March 12th...Leverkusen from memory, at that time, was one of the worst hit/if not thee worst hit area in Germany at that point... Sturgeon had stated no mass gatherings of people over 500 as of March 16th, the Old firm was March 15th... EPL suspended their league as of March 13th and we done likewise...

The Scotland numbers aren’t IMO any better at all. According to the national records of Scotland we’re at about 4000 dead. Our population is a tenth of Englands (5.5m to 55m). They’re at 40 odd thousand we’re at 4 thousand. External Link/Members Only

As far as wee nippy looking good and SNP popularity it’s easy to look good on the back of someone else’s fuck ups. Okay....

punting opens its doors...

we start to participate -

nice lady say in Dunfermline we drive over - then we park up visit the house pass by people on the way there and the way back to the car, who has she seen who else is in the house, who have they met seen etc... A simple trip out you end up being exposed to a considerable number of people. first had second hand third hand... And people may have this without symptoms... it all adds up. We may end up deciding that its not worth the bother. saunas maybe they will have decided that its not worth the bother, imagine the test and trace, you find that you have met someone at a sauna... a hot spot indeed.

As for the meet, whats the lass going to do for you ? kissing cuddles blowjobs ? are these going to end up no nos? blowjobs what does it for me, no blowjob no point in wasting money in a sauna. stoped going to London street when they stopped that, had a couple of other places that were sure fire have the odd lassie that decides to stop bbbj… Ive been like ok. Ill just have a massage. or ill end the session. ill find out right at the start. not wanting to put pressure on a lass but not prepared to spend on something that im not having.

think that its going to be dire the punting market from now on, a lot of the places of provision I don't think will be there any more. lassies are not going to want to risk it are they.

sad times.

I think that those that castigated the folk who posted reviews since lockdown started may have shot themselves in the foot.

This forum thrives on information and now we don't get details as people are scared to post and get a hard time.

There are a few local ladies I have visited that seem to be working as they update AW daily. If they have worked all the way through I guess there is a chance they may already have had the virus. If not is there a great chance of catching it off them now??

I would like to know what the scene is now but folk who are punting and i am sure there are a few, are not reviewing. Are the meetings different?

The R number through the whole west of england is above 1. Throw in a few thousand protesting in close proximity in london and 6000 at a rave in manchester and its more than likely

See a Norwich player also tested positive before a game with spurs, which he played in, wont stop the league opening back up wednesday

People have been protesting here also, going to parks, beaches etc, maybe not on such a large scale but still in large enough groups in close proximity...So we could also maybe expect significant spikes, if its still as potent...  :unknown:

Only based on the premise there is indeed a 2nd wave/Spike which is only guesswork at the moment... If perhaps Escorting/Punting is back on a wider Scale, there will be tourers coming here from England, People travelling to and fro for business, see family, holiday breaks... Ourselves and Wales being neighbouring countries to England, shouldn't expect to be exempt from any spikes or 2nd waves that happen in England... Again, only based on the premise a 2nd wave does occur (maybe climate will play a part, no one truly knows) and that the virus isn't gradually burning out itself...  :unknown:

True mate. The R number is much lower in scotland and i reckon if it did get up again here to 0.7 to 1 then NS wouldn't hesitate in rolling back the lockdown. England don't seem to be doing that and the fact the likes of Alton Towers and other theme parks are opening in 2 weeks is scary.

Like you say though its guesswork and opinion. Only thing concrete is that it's here for the foreseeable still

11 countries so far have seen a second spike tho....

You got to consider the non covid deaths too which will not be insignificant. Also the financial implications to the economy.

It is great Nicola continuing the lockdown but easier for her as she is not funding the furlough.

All along she has said it is not political but is now saying that this is why we should be independent. Not sure how she would fund it. Oil price not exactly helping.

Yip, it's certainly a case of playing it by ear in every aspect, whether that be punting/Escorting or just life in general...

One thing is for sure, people can't go on living like this indefinitely... The economy ends up more fucked, and while that certainly doesnt trump peoples lives, some peoples livelihoods are their lives... Its not good for peoples well being/mental health... Barring a vaccine being found, if one ever is, or the virus disappearing of its own accord, there will be some tough calls have to be made by people more qualified than ourselves at some point... It is indeed a tough balancing act.... :( :hi:

I don’t see NS having any great grip on anything. All she’s done is make us lag behind by 2/3 weeks on easing lockdown. This as I said above has just caused confusion on what we can and can’t do etc. Don’t forget Scotland’s major fuck up on care home deaths (almost half our death toll) and I’m not forgetting the Nike conference either where contrary to her defence it doesn’t look like anyone was contact traced. For me she’s like an echo of Westminster’s actions but she comes over better.

The UK has just about the worst death rate in the world per million of population and as said yesterday we in Scotland are (per population) the same on deaths as England. If there’s going to be another bad spike we will be part of it. I’m not convinced she’ll be any more likely to enforce a 2nd lockdown than England will but we shall see.

The Scottish NHS and education systems weren't in great shape even before this crisis but, even then, all NS had to do was look slightly more competent than BoJo an she was on a winner all the way. The Scottish stats are, as you say, just as bad as England, with a margin of error but, arguably, now on a better trajectory.

Back on the topic of the thread. Reading all the doom and gloom merchants' contributions has actually made me feel more positive about punting being viable sooner, rather than later. Being single an living on my own and not working, I don't closely interact with many people on a daily basis so my assessment of risk may be different from many of the punters on here who have colleagues, partners and families.

Exactly. It’s been easy for NS to make herself look good. A slight positive is as you say that hopefully our trajectory seems a bit better.

I get where you’re coming from on punting. I’ve been picturing how I’d feel about it and think I feel the risks outweigh the benefits and some paranoia might actually ruin the fun as well.

Don't think this statement is factually correct, NS was wanting to Lockdown on Airport arrivals at the start of this Pandemic but as Immigration is Westminster controlled and not a devolved matter it was outwith her hands  If this was implemented, who knows how many cases this would have averted (it certainly wouldn't have made the situation any worse).

BoJo, in his wisdom, has only recently decided to implement a 14 day quarantine period to avert a 2nd wave of the virus. Too little, far too late...springs to mind

They seem to have very little to say on the subject. A reform bill was proposed in 2015 to decriminalize the buying and selling of sex (i don't think it made much headway), but I'm not aware of anything since then.
