On a mac – cmd shift 4 – all at same time and then drag the cross hairs over image you want saved and it will save – mine does to desktop – i can't remember if I had to set that up.

If you can't find it you can do a search for 'screenshot'.

You can also hold down ctrl key and go to 'Save image as' and it will save it.

And in some cases you can just drag the image to your desktop.

It certainly is a warning about not believing reviews on websites - not that I really did.
