Personally, I struggle to believe that a self-described "white middle-class[ed]" person who "operates with considerable social privilege" ever worked 11-hour shifts in a parlour, as claimed in the fourth paragraph. A further observation which undermines the credibility of this is where, in the second paragraph, she complains about the casual racism of a client asking if it was safe to visit in light of the escalating pandemic. Perhaps if she was an Asian sex worker this comment would be more legitimate, however as a self-described privileged white middle class woman I really doubt she'd construe this comment as being racist. The most one could read into it in this specific context is caution on the part of the punter. I therefore have to call BS.
Is it possible that they've interviewed a number of SP's, found similarities in their accounts then ironed them out into one narrative to make it more compelling reading?
