i was half joking but a lot of them aren't in touch with real life and live through their agent
a lot of them do good charity work and donate to charities
however the premiership players are grossly overpaid these days and live in a different world to us
not that i blame them for accepting the wages
i remember the chelsea players drinking in the kings rd on a saturday night

Don't get me wrong, Kyle Walker was an absolute idiot and at 29 years of age he should know better. However, it's too simplistic to sgggest that all footballers are the same. As you mentioned many players make charitibale donations that we don't always hear about. Juan Mata helped support the lanuch of the Common Goal charitable initiative, which has seen a number of players pledge 1% of their salaries. I'm also speaking from experience as I know a couple who remained humble and cool.

Whislt they do live in a completely different world to us is this not the same for all top sportsmen/sportswomen? Market conditions will always dictate remuneration, and in this respect they are not overpaid.

It's probably more than football that will be locked down longer than necessary.  These "high profile" "personalities" who make the news when breaking lockdown restrictions just highlight the inability of many of us to adhere to the guidelines, so this inevitably will be noticed by those in power and have some effect on the timing of lockdown release.

I agree, he is, but he isn't alone. In an ideal world United would hang on to his professionalism, though as I'm sure we're all aware football is as much a business as it is a sport. Players who have signed up to the initiative extends outside of England.
