Organ donation law changing

As per title, around the middle of this month, the rules of organ donation will be changing to an opt out system instead of an opt in system.

I'm creating this thread just to raise awareness for people to have a read, in case anybody did not know. I have not really seen it in the news in the midst of the pandemic and stock market topics.

I think this is as it ought to be, a default setting for organ donation.

But something everyone needs to know.

Fine by me, they can harvest whatever they like from my corpse before I get composted

Thought it had already changed, makes no difference to me as I already have a donor card.

I believe there is still an issue though where even if you carry a donor card your immediate family can go against your wishes and say no after your death, not sure if that has now changed

As far as I'm aware, fucking prossies bans you from giving blood, does the same apply to body parts?
Should we all carry an ID card stating our punting habits so there's no risk of the recipient getting an unwanted gift?
