I may not have known exactly what counts as Docklands and what doesn't. I was actually on my way to Trinity Buoy Wharf which is right next to where I saw the mystery valentines lady. It's the first time I have been there it looks like a very interesting place and might be worth a visit when the economy is back up and running.

I've spotted at least 5 women around the Sussex Gardens area the past 2 nights.
I wasn't looking for them but the first night I was at a red light when the car in front suddenly jumped the red, turned left and stopped and negotiated with a woman on a street corner, who then got into the vehicle. After observing this I kept a look out and noticed that there were a number of women around.

What are the typical rates for this sort of service? Do you do it in your car or do the women have somewhere discreet to take you?

Can you spot them during day time or is just a night shift kinda thing?

I would normally guess that the key ingredient of a 'red light district' walked by 'ladies of the night' is darkness.  However, when I was at uni in Manchester whenever I visited Liverpool I would always see street hookers even at 2pm.  Maybe a regional thing.

I had a young girl ask me if i needed help getting my bike up the stairs on the underground once , she was white , very smart and respectable so i put it down to her being well brought up and thoughtful but i did think wtf either i look fucking handicapped or maybe shes up for it , didnt want to risk upsetting her so assumed the first.
Ive seen the odd hooker on Dalston Lane by Dalston Junction in the early hours, its not inconceivable there being hookers in that area , and id say a pretty young black girl is more likely to be out at that time rather than later. Could be a hooker or just a well intentioned onlooker.

This is not relevant to the street scene in London, but this kind of thing may go on in London for foreign tourists: I was in China doing tourist stuff on my own once and a pretty young girl struck up conversation with me at a crossing. I thought perhaps she was practising her English but I was wary of it being a distraction thing or luring me somewhere to nick my cash. She walked along with me, I kept being polite but it got very weird. She followed me into a KFC, watched while I ordered and sat opposite while I ate! There was no offer of anything, it was just really odd, I thought perhaps she was a bit "special". She followed me out and I had to tell her very bluntly to go away.

But two days later almost the same thing happened but this girl was a bit older and more confident. She was very chatty and spoke great English, offered to buy me a cup of tea. She didn't waste much time before she asked me if I'd like to see her artwork. I thought I was on a promise only she was serious, it was a scam to sell tourists overpriced art from a pop up (no doubt fake) college art exhibition! I liked what I saw but didn't buy anything, had it been the girl on sale I may have!

I'm most inclined to think it was distraction, not least as I heard two young lads shouting stuff at me from behind as I walked away.

Overseas I always have my wits about me, once a girl followed me into a hotel lift (at 1am) then got off at my floor, smiling at me.  I walked into the stairwell and waited, she was still stood at the lift a couple of minutes later.  I know non-punters who've had pushy hookers in hotels, even calls to their rooms asking if they want it.

Yeh i dont know Nicky but Romford Rd seems ok , ive only had one other dud and she was iirc called keeley, white English , freindly but crap.
