Me keep up???  My point still stands, it is not up to you if finds one comment offensive and not another. Then you start ranting on about being born in London doesn't make you a Londoner.   What does it make you then.

Your missing the point. I could not give a fuck what beamer finds offensive.

Offline hillingdonpete

I am so pleased that you and others like you are in the clear minority on this forum.

People like me are also a minority in London.

I bet your really offended by that comment.

Why dont you check the British Nationality Act 1981.

Check the Government website, it makes it crystal clear being born here does not make you a British Citizen.

TBH, I realy do not care about your ethnicity, that is with my hand on my heart. wether you believe it or not is up to you.

You have the problem with your ethnicity, thats why you were offfended. Just like I said at the begining.

Ok.

The overview is written in English. Is that the problem your having?

If there are any difficult words there let me know and I will help you though it.

There are 17 words in the overview, they look pretty easy to understand.

Don't try to be a smart arse just link or quote where it says you will NOT be a British citizen.

Born in England and you are English and a British citizen.

Have you forgot this quote you made.

You were talking in absolutes.

Do I need to remind you of what I said?

Show me where in the 17 words that it say you will NOT be a British citizen. Here they are for you.

If you or your parents were born in the UK, you might automatically be a British citizen.

If you are born in England you are English but a British citizen. You really need to check your facts.

I did a master composting course  hosted by the Royal Horticultural Society  back in the 90s. It was excellent. The things I learnt were layering, good quality vegetation and patience. It also gave me access to unlimited supplies of well rotted horse manure.

Some allotments sell / swap . I swapped blue plastic water pipe to make cloches for  free compo.

Being born in London does not make you a Londoner.

No not because of the argument, because you are a racist and I haven't lost the argument you have.

Again show me where it says you will NOT be a British citizen.

You can’t accept that being born here makes you a citizen.

Concentrate on my comment at the top and then the government website overview on the bottom.

Lets keep it to these quotes, and leave out the British Nationality Act.

SHOW ME where it says that on the website.    :dash:

It the goes on the tell you what qualifies and what doesn't and being born here qualifies you for British citizenship, if it doesn't show me where  it says it doesn't. Copy and paste it like I did with the section above.

Born in the UK or a British colony before 1 January 1983
You’re usually automatically a British citizen if you were born in the UK.

There are 2 exceptions. You will not be a British citizen if your father was either:

a diplomat working for a foreign country
an ‘enemy alien in occupation’ - this only applies to you if your father was in the Channel Islands during World War 2 when you were born

All the others are similar.

You really are clutching at straws now, read the Gov website and it tells you that is one of the exceptions.
Quote
If the parent that meets these conditions is your father, he must have been married to your mother when you were born.
He didn't look at it properly either or else he would've known what he had to do.

One or two exceptions is a long way off "Check the Government website, it makes it crystal clear being born here does not make you a British Citizen".

Read the article from the paper you linked to, the bloke is an AUSTRALIAN CITIZEN he holds an Australian passport. He had the chance to apply to stay here when he was refused a UK passport. Of course there are rule to follow but having to follow rules is not the same as "being born here does not make you a British Citizen"

Keep going the way you are, as in trying to take the piss I will ban you. You are a racist and you can't accept that those of ethnic origin can be English. Don't forget you started this with the Urdu comment.
