So true. I saw Frankie May many times, she was with Elite Esorts North East to start with in Bensham before Diamonds. Always thought she would go on to be the best escort in the area. Then Denayson appeared, he was a strange one. Manipulation for sure

It was actually up for sale a few years back - you'd only have needed £1.8 million.   I guess it was also sold with vacant possession, which would be a shame in this case!

Always amused me that when try were trying to sell it the estate agents photos from outside had dirty Dionne and Tiffany's cars on them.

It was a great place, TT usual flat was the nicest and absolutely massive, like you I have a lot of brilliant memories from that place. As Outsider says it was for sale for 1.8 million and if it had been anywhere else would have easily sold. Although there was a great Park just behind it, not too sure I'd want to go there in the dark  they were great days.
As visiting some of the other quayside venues, I can remember having a meal in the Baltic at the top and my youngest says oh look you can see straight into those flats. I was having to look away and bite my tongue as I remembered an awesome punt where we had been shagging in the living room of the flats opposite

The caretaker  used to take a cut from the people using the rooms to clean up afterwards..

I remember reading in the local paper that the Mansion was bought by a painter and decorator and his wife. God knows how many houses you need to paint to afford that place, I remember thinking it must have been a front for another business! Although if I recall, all the apartments were owned by about 4-5 separate landlords all based in the Westend of Newcastle at least they were when I done a bit work there.

Makes you wonder if we’ll ever have another punting Mecca in the NE, I know the Baltic flats are busy but those buildings just haven’t got the same history!

Unofficially changed its name to Bucharest Street Sauna about 6 years ago. I havent been since the raids of 2013- you could still get some great lasses up until about 2011 but like a lot of things in life best to remember how it was not how it is.
