Which popular films and television shows have you never seen?

I have Torchwood on dvd, as I say the first 2 series have some great plots, very well written, then it really gets worse and worse. Apart from on dvd no idea where its available now. The whole premise of it being set in Cardiff is laughable though, but that's where the production was, same with Dr Who or it was then.

I should imagine lots was shot on location for cheapness, and it would have been expensive to cover up everything that shouted Cardiff! so they just went with it  .

The Beeb make a big thing about Cardiff being where Dr Who is made.  I guess since they stopped making 'Why Don't You?' out in the provinces there's not been much chance for places like that to produce anything.

I think they have to be seen to produce output from all over the UK.

Yes cost and it suited the creator Russell T Davis as it did with Dr Who which I only watched when Christopher Ecclestone and David Tennant played the Dr since its revival.

Not Welsh but I always found the welsh ladies very friendly and inviting  - also found the accent cute as well

I haven't seen any Star Wars, Star Trek, Indiana Jones, Rocky, Jaws, Superhero films, etc, etc. Only saw some James Bond a few years ago to see what I was missing. Not a lot as far as I was concerned.
I just don't have any interest in 'action films'. There are only so many screeching tyres, gunshots, explosions, plane crashes, etc until it all blends into one.
Was talking to a guy a couple of years younger than me last year who is a huge fan of action films, sci fi and superheros and he actually couldn't believe it when I reeled the list of films I had never seen or modern film stars I didn't know. 'Where have you been all your life. You haven't lived,' he told me.
So while he had spent his life watching movies I had spent it shagging prossies. I don't know which one of us had actually lived.
Maybe neither of us.
