Interesting read will the prices dip or will the surviving girls increase to recoup lost earnings. Never keep all your eggs in one basket or cocks in one fanny as they saying goes  :D

Offline bigkstyle

I suspect they will probably go up. I've noticed quite a lot of girls had started putting them up in the months before this outbreak anyway. I think greed will sadly dictate again and they will up their prices to try and make up for losses. Also they will know guys are desperate to get punting again

Offline sandybottoms92

Hoping there'll be karma at work. Any of the girls who stubbornly continued to work during the lockdown and against common sense may have been black listed by lots of punters, and will have dusty phones pretty quickly. Prices should eventually re-align to nearabouts where they were. That's my hope, anyway.

Offline Shutty238

I'm just hoping we get some recently retired girls returning to boost their earnings.

Offline The Outsider

I mainly want to come out of this alive and I'm in no hurry to punt again any time soon.

I'd imagine a lot of punters will be nervous and many of them poorer than before this started.   That will have an effect on prices.

My other thought is that I imagine a lot more WGs will pay realistic taxes so they are protected by any Government financial measures should there ever be a repeat of this situation. Same goes for anyone self employed, actually.

My sentiments exactly, especially the first line. At the end of it I'll do what I've always done, pay the price, that I regard as value for money, for the service I require.

Higher to make up for lost earnings
Or
Lower because punters don't have the money.

For me, it really depends on what punters will do.

well £60 / 30 min is my limit so if they start increasing prices that's me out of punting, I had not been doing much before the lockdown
but a price hike will see me stopping for good

Same here.

I won't pay over my set limit and if they bump up the prices then I'll simply move on. Guess I'll have to revert to plan B which is shag the missus more

It's a weird thing..

You've lost business so you put prices up to make up the lost income.

But your clients have less money to spend so higher prices would mean less business from them.

Would other businesses do that? If not, why would escorts do that?

Offline Mansell

My view is they are going to need to drop prices to attract clients. In 6 months time the countries economics will be in a different place and punting will to.

You could well be right. I've already got used to not being able to punt and don't miss it as much as I thought I would. Spending the money on things which will be beneficial to me for months rather than just an hour of fun.

Offline Fragilehand

My last comment didnt post for some reason. I would disagree with working girls declaring their income I would say the most honest would declare 50 to 70% if that. So most like the rest of people are in the shit right now. Some reason lots of working girls think they have fannys sprinkled with gold dust and will charge more but I imagine because the "cash" trade has stopped influx of cheap crap from Europe may come flooding. Think the market may become saturated and hopefully see a price drop that's my heart but my head knows sluts are greedy and will rinse out what they can from punters
Cant think Romania and likes are offering 80% wages for workers to stay at home

I think the prices will go back to their original levels. I for one won't pay inflated prices.

Increasing prices isn't the way to get new punters through the door.

No drops. No rises.

I ll just wait and see what happens.
You might get some who will try and cash in, but I think the decent Ladies will be keeping prices the same.
If not then I ll just have to find something else to do.
No great loss to me as I hardly punt anyway

Taking your comment, Tigers comment and I know I've not been as active and a few others haven't. So if the economy hits a wall I do think a price rethink will be needed. Not massive, but enough so guys actually want to punt again.

After being locked in for a while - first by govt and then self imposed as I'm at risk, I'll want to explore the countryside again. I'll even settle for fog if it's Corona free.

Online Third Man

I'd say they'll stay the same. Can't imaging the local agencies increasing rates.

Iam going to thrash my motor along some country lanes and maybe up to Kielder...its like a caged animal at the moment. Doing about 5 miles a day is no use to it at all

Mine isn’t doing 5 miles a week atm, I’m saving a fortune in fuel and parking! But I’m bored silly and horny, I have already made my mind up who I’m gonna see once lockdown is over and if she is back working. It’ll give the car a run out too, so two birds and one stone

Are you going to tie her to the back bumper to warm her up?  ;)

After all this time on lockdown she’ll be all warmed up and raring to go  :rose:

Offline toon972

I don't punt much anyway now and holidays are fucked as well, personally I think prices will stay the same and maybe an influx of new girls as there will be many jobs gone. As the same as everyone else will wait and see. I think this is going to be longer than first thought.

I think there might be a few who dont return.
I can see Some agencies might struggle to get girls back, if the girl has been working throughout this she might think she can go alone.

I also think we shall see a few name changes

Yep, very true. It's going to be interesting to come back and read this thread when it's all over and see what has actually happened.

What do you drive out of curiosity? Dont go into detail for obvious reasons. I cant wait to get out on my bike. I'm still working so this feels like Christmas everything shut less cars on the road but with more deaths and less presents

Thats what I fancy doing, having a good ride out on my bike it would be great at the moment with fewer cars on the road but that pleasure is gone for now ...sad times with not being able to any fun riding female or motorised  :(

During the great depression prices went down, slightly, for the first couple of years. If there is less money chasing the same amount of service that is what usually happens. If the ladies from Europe are affected as much as we have been I guess they might come down a little. Mind you, our government has been so utterly incompetent we are likely to be affected more than, say, New Zealand or South Korea where they did a great job. Add to that Brexit and you can safely say the palmy days are over - in every respect.

The issue is quality.

If ROMs drop their prices but keep the same attitude (generally) then that wouldn't help me. Other punters maybe.

I think guys would still punt but less often, whatever happens with prices. So for the sp, she'll still get business. If she's ok with less business, then no reason to drop prices.

I wonder if we'll see less touring once restrictions are lifted because it'a financial risk anyway, and with less punting, even more so.

A great thread for hypotheticals. Anth would love this.

I didn't realise they were sub 5 seconds! (According to google) I'm just waiting to get a ticking off for going on about non punting

Once things return to normal I can see some independents putting on some short term offers too attract punters back. WGs certainly can’t afford to lose clients/business so they would be daft to put their prices up.

Over the next year it will be interesting to see if the standard price per 30 min & hour drops to keep punters keen.

Offline Belgarion

Unless a cure/vaccine is developed, I just will not punt no matter what the prices are to be honest.

Disease is far too easily transmitted.

I have a figure in my head of what I'm willing to pay, if an SP puts herself out of that price, I won't see her

Offline Tiger63

I have to be honest and say that Iam not missing punting at all.
I didnt do much anyway so its probably a bit easier for me.

I’ve spent a fair while away from punting being busy with being a sugar daddy, but had returned to punting and had one punt a few weeks before lockdown. I had been looking forward very much to some further punting action.

This has obviously been put on extended “hold” for an unknown length of time. Coupled with that the fact that my punting / sugaring income has been hit by the virus, and even when punting is back on, I may be temporarily unable to afford it!  :scare:

Offline toon972

I am thinking about giving SA a go when this is over. I never fully joined originally, just as well considering what has happened, but got some encouraging replies. It also seems a bit more relaxing than going for an hour punt. Also not really missed punting but I had cut down anyway.

I'd been punting infrequently for several months prior to this and not missing it as much as I thought I would  :unknown:

Prior to lockdown I had started having massages more than FS bookings.

If there was a price increase (doubt there will be) I would just have more massages and fewer FS bookings.

It's surprising how many masseuses will indulge in a little foot play.

Offline Bertbanger99

ive hardly thought about punting since the lockdown, apart from the odd browse on here to stay in touch, I was gradually getting bored with punting anyway, it had lost its initial appeal probably due to the lack of quality and notable retirements in the past few years, so this has come at the right time I think, ill still have the odd punt but only in "I must have some that" circumstances

Offline FLYING BLUE

How s everyone else feeling?

Kinda glad I retired before all this because, although there are still very many cargo flights in the air, a lot of pilots are not working.

I am however, bored as hell sitting at home all day on my own, all my band's gigs are cancelled, pubs are shut (just as I can finally enjoy the delights of real beer without the 72 hour rule) and a new, exciting car on the drive that's going nowhere.

At least I have a garden, a lot of people are in a much worse position than me & I'm grateful for that but I am really missing the company of others at this time......
Stay safe folks :hi:
