Presumably you think people should be observing all the social distancing protocols generally when out and about, to try to prevent the spread of this deadly virus?
Yet, you say "good luck to 'em" if people choose to punt?
I realise this is a punting site and we're all gagging for a shag, but if the above is true, then that's clearly completely contradictory, and dare I say it, hypocritical?
Indeed. What point am I making...?

I suppose - as a punter - I am someone whose hobby is manifestly viewed as inappropriate/wrong/illegal by 90% of the population.
So I start from that standpoint, and that consequently this forum (IMHO) shouldn't really be about telling other punters how they should conduct themselves (apart from the obvious rules laid down by the Mods). I'm all for punting trannies, barebacking and picking up street walkers, if that floats your boat.
Maybe this whole 'covidiot/PC Plod on the rampage/Facebook shaming' trope has driven me nuts. In London there is a particular breed of middle aged woman - no offence - who seems to almost enjoy theatrically shrinking back if someone walks too close to them in the street. I'm a key worker, and have seen this many times in recent weeks. I mean, FFS, if you are that worried, stay at home.
For the record, I am supportive of social distancing, but what I appreciate is the Swedish approach - which seems to be 'our people are sensible and we think they will do what we ask them to do without significant legislation'.
Maybe I have managed to confuse myself. The last thing I want to be is hypocritical...! I shall metaphorically put down my keyboard, and go back to dreaming about the day the lockdown is lifted.
