I don't read the tabloids, 'Hello', or watch chat shows, GMB, Jeremy Vine etc etc so I only vaguely know who half these people listed are.
But I have worked with certain people in the broader entertainment industry in the past, and if you want fame and celebrity, it's a prerequisite to be incredibly pushy and very self-centred. It's not an accident that someone ends up fronting a chat show, or compere-ing 'Strictly Dancing on Ice in yer Knickers' or whatever the show is.
So I start off with no expectations that any of these cocksuckers are going to be interesting, caring, decent people. And when any of their mostly ugly mugs appear on the TV, I switch over or leave the room. Some of these people are ludicrously overpaid, so if you carry on watching their crap, you're adding to the problem.
This ghastly-looking Big Night In on BBC1 looks particularly egregious. We're going to start and end with worshipping at the altar of the NHS. Then there's going to be a load of nonsense about what horrid racists we all are, or have been in the past. There'll be some stuff about climate change, and some pro-EU guff about how we all need to pull together.
We all KNOW it's going to be thoroughly nauseating. The fucking BBC at its worst.
