. I reckon her acting is spot-on too. Very convincing, her manner, her looks, the doe-eyed thing that Diana used to do.
The actual accuracy of the series has been brought into question and they certainly have taken liberties with the accepted truth, with some flagrant 'dramatisations' to get across what are mostly reasonable points.
Sadly I have to say, by far the worst performance in the whole series is by an actress whom I consider to be normally a shining example of her craft: Gillian Anderson. Maybe she's not cut out to 'do' other people, especially when they and their mannersims are as well known as Thatcher's? The level of overacting is insane, she's trying waaaay too hard
. It's like she studied Thatcher to an infitesimally small detail, and then multiplied every little foible by a factor of ten.
