:hi: Cant seem to get on porn hub  :( :( so returned  :hi:

As "the Govenment Experts" said each country has a dirrent way of making figures and deciding on the cause of death these figures have to be looked at with the number tested to number of dead ..

Years ago when I was making "Loadsa money" I drove around the Nurbergring track in a senior work mates 911 (he`s still got the little map transfer on the car knackered as it is ) it was scarey that day several groups of bikers had decided to do circuit too...quite a few very very nasty crashes involving helicopter removal ect how ever ....No one died on track in fact yep theres a lot of accidents but not much death on road/track that happens down road in the clinic  :hi: ....way it is  :unknown: no one died yesterday on track ... :hi:

I believe that Pornhub blocks you if you've got an adblocker, so take that as a good sign.

I'll thank you kindly not to pigeonhole me with an ad hominem argument, HL. I expected more of you.

That kind of prejudice will mislead you into thinking I have disparaged Boris in the present crisis. I have not.

Perhaps you need to get back out into your garden and let a little steam off?

I apologise for my reference to your disparagement of Boris Johnson - I wrongly attributed to you remarks made by another.

The remainder of my comments are adequately supported by your own postings, and I am sure that in that circumstance your highly commendable (and, of course, fully expected) familiarity with the latin language will convince you that your attribution of an "ad hominem" argument is no longer applicable.

You could try explaining your clear dislike of the BBC if you have a few minutes to spare, and if it at least partly has to do with the over-75s losing their free licence fee then I addressed that earlier (and I can also understand why having something taken away which was recently given, would piss off a lot of people).

As for the ad hominem argument, that has nothing to do with your incorrect assertion that I've been slagging off Boris over Covid-19 (now retracted by you, thank you), it has everything to do with you flinging a load of mud at me because you apparently don't like me/my values/whatever else. There was no detail, it was simply a load of mud-flinging. It may also be to do with an ill-judged comment I made a few weeks ago where I hadn't noticed you posted about lost family members during WW2. I was mortified and apologised profusely, both openly on here and by PM. You were very reluctant to accept that apology, so perhaps you just think I'm a dick? That's fair enough.

But perhaps don't just post mud-flinging drivel where you misrepresent what I've said.

I am always up for a bit of debate though, as you hopefully have noticed.

[PS I'm not a Latin scholar and wouldn't pretend to be, but pretty well anyone knows what ad hominem means, and it was clearly evident in your post]

I don't think I commented on the German testing figures?

Anyway, back to those pesky bats...I'm having a bit of trouble deciphering what you've written above but I'm pretty sure bats had a big part to play in the epidemic, which originated in China.

Or perhaps you would prefer "If you don`t like the heat then don`t poke the fire!"

HL, do I sound angry? I'm not.

I'd already made my mind up on this but I'll state it now: I shan't comment directly on any of your posts in the future. Whether it's my crap jokes (I'm frequently irreverent but never intentionally disrespectful) or any of the other stuff I mentioned before, no offence is meant but you seem to be taking it.

Whether you intend to do the same is up to you, but I don't wish it.

There was a great film on ITV2 last night called Contagion, not sure if they will screen it again in the next week or so as ITV do seem to repeat things a few times over a short time frame, if not then well worth a watch on their catch up player.

Rather than being some far fetched scenario where a bug comes to earth on the tail of a comet then the American super heros save all mankind it mirrored the current covid 19 outbreak.
Anyone that watches it will probably be like me and sit there going "Yeah that's exactly right, that's what's happening now".

It's actually a film from 2011 but i'd never seen it however it was the right film for the right time, for anyone that hasn't watched it I won't spoil the end but it shows how the virus jumped from an animal and entered the human population.
Thanks for the recommendation , just watched it , surprised id not seen it before , but yeh the similarities to the present virus are uncanny , bat virus from east asia goes global. Only diference is their virus had a mortality of 20% whereas ours is only like 1% so the government should be able to keep a lid on it. Thankfully
Got any more virus or zombie films  :D

Last laugh and all that so Africa doesn't want anyone from the US or "Shithole" countries as Trump would say

Now the Mexicans

Coronavirus: Mexicans Demand Crackdown on Americans Crossing the Border

Mexican protesters have shut a US southern border crossing amid fears that untested American travellers will spread coronavirus.

Residents in Sonora, south of the US state of Arizona, have promised to block traffic into Mexico for a second day after closing a checkpoint for hours on Wednesday.

They wore face masks and held signs telling Americans to "stay at home".

 that would be amusing to see!

Looking more and more like the USA are in for a horrid time with the virus.

I agree that this situation has caught many off guard but at least it's being taking seriously by most places but in the USA it still seems the message from Trump is it will blow over!  :scare:

After years of the pro EU liberals promoting the advantages of open borders and free movement and disparaging anyone who was concerned about this as thick racists the borders are going up all over Europe.  :sarcastic:
I wonder if they will call the Coronavirus racist?  :D

You mean EU nations can control their own borders? Say it isn't so.

So all your whining was based on lies and ignorance on your part.

I would say I was surprised but I'm not.

You seem to be saying you think the German death rate appears better because of the way they manage the figures? Well obviously the amount of CV-dead is an (relatively) easy thing to count, so that would mean they're erring on the side of confirming many more cases than elsewhere? (ie deaths per infection).

I don't actually think their method of measuring occurring Covid cases could be that different from elsewhere, certainly in Europe? Certainly, experts everywhere seem to be astonished at their low death rate compared with elsewhere?

As for the bats, you seem to be acknowledging that it likely did originate with them.
