Pure Relaxation used to be called The Back and Body Clinic and looked very legit with all staff wearing smart uniforms. Perhaps it has changed ownership and direction but i would be doubtful. Might be worth a phone call to see what's on offer.

A quick word about "Scoot", "TouchLocal", "The Sun", "Cyclex" etc.

These are listing sites that include details of providers from various sources and once listed are left and never updated. Consequently the vast number of so-called listings are either moribund, out-of-date or simply rubbish. Take for example "Blissful Girls" of Wellingboro' (listed on Scoot, TouchLocal and The Sun) - examination shows it was listed in 2007. Basically stick with Gumtree, VivaStreet and Adultworld - of course there is some dross on there - but at least it's current and not 13 years out of date.

Yes I noticed that as well.

Another one of these is "Bizexposed" where long gone information is maintained. Caused a problem when Peaches in Ilkeston had to be renamed when a previous incarnation of the name caused confusion. Incidentally I've given some details on the "Looking for a FBSM in Northampton" thread about a couple of places which are actually open.

Finally - we've heard about Palm at Five Palms - are Lena and Narlee at their new premises in Wellingborough?

As regards Lena (aka Suky) who is reputably Palm's mum, I've seen the Gumtree Ad for Sundays only but it wasn't clear whether this was as an Indie or whether she did Sundays only at Wellingborough now. Can't imagine that she isn't working during the week; in another thread it was reported that Lot, previously at Five Palms, had not moved to Wellingborough so what the staffing arrangements there in the week are I'm not sure. Is there a possibility of a mother/daughter four hand on Sunday?

Only one way to find out. Make a booking with both of them and post a review. Looking at Lena's gumtree advert it looks like she works independently on a sunday

Lena (Suki) Works from her home in Northampton on Sundays and in Wellingborough in the week. Palm is working just weekends to save up for a holiday in Thailand in a few weeks so may be working much less after this. they don't work together and in fact I think Lena works at home on Sunday to allow Palm to get some clients.

I have never been to Kettering Massage.

Blissful Girls is long gone as far as I am aware.

Pure Relaxation is a genuine set up at the Back and Body Clinic in Wootton as others have said.
I sussed that one out a while back. I should have done a review I suppose but it was totally legit and nothing special.

Massage Works. I rang one day for details and it is a bloke so no go there for me.

Unfortunately I live nowhere near Northampton - but have to visit on an occasional basis - so a visit to Wellingborough is absolutely out especially at weekends. I understand that Narlee and Lena work at Five Palms during the week - both will do naked HE with touching allowed.

You may know that I don't write reviews if you're acquainted with another thread that was quite acrimonious at times. The upshot of all that is that I will endeavour to provide information where I am able or ask pertinent questions where I think it may help contributors. In respect of massage shops (rather than independents) you need to be rather wary on approaches. They have to give the impression that they are legitimate and indeed many of them are. In addition to that YMMV with each masseuse. Some will provide services and others won't even at the same shop. Owners and indeed masseuses sometimes get very uptight about what is written on the net - certainly if it's stated that "Well I read on the internet that you'd do "X" or whatever". I would advise potential customers to be circumspect when visiting places they aren't known. Anyway that's a bit of a sermon so sorry if I've gone on a bit. In answer to mr.bluesky - you will Narlee very accommodating and well worth any extra. Go and enjoy!

A fair point Megga. I have done reviews / comments on another establishment that I frequently visit and it's certain that this particular service provider has read them .
