It's not as legit as it looks.

The entrance is quite exposed on a busy high street.
Had to fill in a form in the lobby which is visible from the street.  Asked to leave shoes there and don a pair of slippers.  Shown to room by an elfin, late 30s thai lady in tunic who said her name was "Aoh", no idea how to spell it.  Given a basket for my clothes.
Stripped off and lay down.  She placed a towel over me and was careful to cover me most of the time while giving a pretty thorough massage with no hint of anything and no accidental brushes.  On the turn she again covered me with the towel but very quickly asked me in a whisper about extras.  HE for £40 - I said no, £20.  Bit of a pause and she countered with £30. Against my inclination I went for it.  Quite well done with no objection to a bit of fondling over clothes.  Tidy up and then she got me to sit up for some shoulder massage and the hour was up.
This place has been well refurbished.  No sign of a shower and it wasn't offered.
On my way out there was a lady outside the door waiting to be let in. So I think there is risk attached if you are too local.  Also be aware that parking is only free for an hour so you will have to P&D (40p for up to 2 hours).
Although very handy I'm unlikely to return.  Better value elsewhere.

What was the price of the massage before extras? The Gumtree ad. doesn't say. All it says is that you can get £20 off as an introductory offer. Did you get that (alleged) discount?
And was yours a 30 minute or 60 minute appointment?

£40 for just a happy ending. Far too much. They won't be getting my custom when £20 is the normal going rate perhaps they think being  in a posh area they can charge more and whats with this filling in a form !

It was an hour.  Price is £45, the 20% discount which is still showing on Gumtree stopped on 14th January and they wouldn't honour it.  Overall a very average experience

What we need is to not to pay the silly money they are asking for. They will soon drop their prices if nobody has extras. There seems to be a glut of Thai and Chinese massage parlours in the west midlands and Warwickshire area lately.

I'm not being funny but its people like you that encourage these providers to charge silly amounts.

They will soon drop the price when we stand firm and refuse to be taken for mugs!

I paid a visit yesterday out of interest.
Place is definetly better than your average Thai spa in terms of decor etc.
Like the original review I had to fill out a form for 'insurance purposes'!
Massage was £40 and was definetly an excellent quality massage. Had the same approach with the towel but I commented on how hot it was in the room and with the towel; so she removed it. At the end of the massage she rather nervously asked if I wanted any extras; I said yes and then she said what did I want! Well it had been a long week and I really only wanted HE. So went for that; it would be interesting to note what else was on offer. As I said the massage was excellent the HE - hmmmh! not so good - the old man felt a bit bruised at the end! At no time was money mentioned. As I left I left her £20 and no comment was made.
So £40 for massage & £20 for HE.

I went last week paid £50 for an hour. Was shown into the room and told to keep my pants on! Good massage by masked girl but no offer of extras.
