So, has anyone experience of this, proper posh totty?
Often claimed in the AW ads; but, like
'sophisticated' it's more commonly observed as a counter-signal - as in, you can have a high degree of conviction that anyone advertising either will be neither.
There are exceptions, but the only ones I can think of are all retired, or most likely nearly so.
There were two at Maxes: Ashley/Ashleigh? and Alex; both, from memory, Wiltshire gals; and whilst they were not bona fide posh, they were at least pukka middle-class strumpets. The former was seen in action as recently as this year, but I think the latter hung up her heels last year, having threatened to do so several times before. I guess their respective ages might be c. 36 and 40 now; so it's not out of the question they could return.
Also, an independent operator: Ruth Beaufort - formerly of the Les Girls walk-up near Soho's Berwick Street in the mid noughties; thence to Nottingham, and as close to the real deal as anyone is likely to get; and though I last saw her around 2016 (when she was every bit as good as I remember) subsequent enquiries have gone unanswered, so I conclude that, as she was certainly in her late 40s back then, her career is now over.
