I have two reviews, both for agency bookings, which were on my 'to do' list but which won't be happening now. It's just not worth the aggravation as, you've guessed, I did not get a VAT receipt on either occasion!

You can say many things about James and Finn, but they'll call you a twat you to your face if you say something they don't like. And they say it humorously and you often come out at the end of the discussion with a smile on your face. Or if you really are a twat you get shown for all to see.

They don't do little cliques where they plan in their PM and twitter groups to all get you banned in unison and to try and purposely troll your posts hoping you take the bait and then do mass reporting the posts claiming serious offence all in tandem like certain lovvey dovvies do on other forums. That's the shit you have to put up with the non-northeasters on other forums. And frankly give me JFS any day over stuff like that.

The members you are on about come on threads just to stir the shit and cause arguments, just look at Scutty's recent posts on this and the 'rates' threads, constructive comments are welcome but there were none. By the way I am echoing the feelings made plain on these threads by well established NE punters.

If you have an issue with another forum you need to take it up on there.

If any punter claims he has been put off from posting a review in the north east section because of any of those three posting in here I think firstly they'd be lying when claiming that. And if not then they are definitely too fragile for the forum anyway.

My point about the other site was simply to highlight if James, Finn and Scutty are the worst 'trolls' we have on UKP then its a pretty good forum we have given what real trolls do elsewhere which really do cause people to lose their minds with stress and paranoia.

Furthermore, when UKP started for about the first two years it was only literally about 20 people posting across the whole forum, never mind the north east section, and James and Finn were part of the 20. As was people like JRC, Matium, Cactus, Marmalade and other direct talking people. And people seemed to like it as they all signed up to read what they had to say.

Anyway, obviously I am in the minority here so that is all I will say.

Anth: you harking back to the good old days of 20 members and people signing up because they liked that kind of attitude back then.... maybe they did, and that’s great and was back in the day. The vast majority (yourself excepted) don’t appear to enjoy that rude, trolling, abusive behavior where folks just stir the pot anymore. The site has plainly evolved from its early days and as DM says, the site is at risk if people are not happy to post due to the constant crap. That’s what the ‘other’ site is for.

Anth take your rose coloured glasses off, click the link in my earlier reply to you, it's from November. On this thread the agency is getting criticised for what is the girls fault, as confirmed by the OP. This isn't even mentioning the posts in the Christmas party thread about VAT registration, wanting company details and VAT numbers posted here and punters getting receipts for punts.

They were told time and again not to derail threads, if they wanted to discuss agencies and how they operate they were welcome to do so, but to start a new thread about it and that still stands. They chose not to do that.

Nobody is trying to stop anyone posting where they wish but if the majority see posts as trollish or argumentative then that is not right and not good for the forum.

People who made a contribution 10 years ago are to be applauded for getting UKP on its feet.  However, this is 2020 not 2010 and they don't generally have the knowledge or understanding of the NE scene to add any value - nor do they try to! The repetitive agency bashing does us a disservice. 

I rarely look at the other regional boards, because I have nothing to add and don't punt there.  I certainly don't feel I could add much to a conversation about London sex parties or Manchester massage parlours.  The forum has regional boards for a reason.
